Nara Chandrababu Naidu,also known as Chandrababu Naidu or CBN,is an Indian politician and the current Leader of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Naidu served as Chief Minister from 1995 to 2004 and as Opposition Leader from 2004 to 2014 in the erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. He held the position of Chief Minister for the third time in the bifurcated Andhra Pradesh from 2014 to 2019. He is the longest-tenured Chief Minister in United Andhra Pradesh.

Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was the 11th vice president of India. He served in that position from August 2002,when he was elected to a five-year term by the electoral college following the death of Krishan Kant,until he resigned on 21 July 2007,after losing the presidential election to Pratibha Patil. Bhairon Singh Shekhawat was a member of the Janata Party until 1980 and joined Bharatiya Janata Party on its formation. He served as the Chief Minister of Rajasthan three times,from 1977 to 1980,1990 to 1992 and 1993 to 1998. He represented several constituencies in Rajasthan Vidhan Sabha from 1952 to 2002. He was also awarded Padma Bhushan in the year 2003.
Shri Krishna Singh (Sinha) (21 October 1887 –31 January 1961),also known as Shri Babu,was the first chief minister of the Indian state of Bihar (1946–61). Except for the period of World War II,Sinha was the chief minister of Bihar from the time of the first Congress Ministry in 1937 until his death in 1961. Along with the Desh Ratna Rajendra Prasad and Bihar Vibhuti Anugrah Narayan Sinha (A.N. Sinha),Sinha is regarded among the 'Architects of Modern Bihar'. He also led the Dalit entry into the Baidyanath Dham temple (Vaidyanath Temple,Deoghar),which reflected his commitment towards the upliftment and social empowerment of the Dalits. He was the first chief minister in the country to abolish the zamindari system. He underwent different terms of imprisonment for a total of about eight years in British India. Sinha's mass meetings brought hordes of people to hear him. He was known as Bihar Kesari for his lionlike roars when he rose to address the masses. His close friend and eminent Gandhian Bihar Vibhuti A.N. Sinha in his essay Mere Shri Babu wrote that,"Since 1921,the History of Bihar has been the history of the life of Shri Babu".

The eighth legislative assembly election for Tamil Nadu was held on 24 December 1984. All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) won the election and its general secretary,incumbent M. G. Ramachandran (M.G.R) was sworn in as Chief Minister,for the third time. Narhari Amin is a politician from Gujarat state of India. He is a member of the Indian Parliament (MP) affiliated with the Bharatiya Janta Party. Formerly he was a Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat affiliated to the Indian National Congress in 1994.
