Jack Benjamin Edwards (born 18 October 1998) is an English YouTuber, social media influencer and author [3] . He has built an online following posting videos about books, popular culture and university life since 2016, and is associated with the internet sub-communities of BookTube, BookTok [4] [5] [6] and EduTube. [7] [8] [9] As of July 2024 he has over 1.38 million subscribers on YouTube and over 1.1 million followers across TikTok and Instagram.

Early life and education

Edwards is from Brighton and studied English Literature, Politics, and History at A-level, the results of which he opened on camera on his channel. [10] attended the University of Durham to study English literature. [11] [12] [13] During his time there, he was a member of St Cuthbert's College. He was the first member of his family to attend university. [12]

Career

Edwards began documenting his experiences at university on YouTube in 2016. The dean of his college attributed a rise in applications to the college he attended to Edwards' channel, calling it "the Jack Edwards effect". [8]

He now has over one million subscribers on his main channel @jack_edwards, and over 400,000 on his second channel @jack_in_the_books. He is known for posting about popular culture, including reading the book recommendations of popular actors, musicians, and reality stars. [14] He is also active on TikTok and Instagram. Edwards is signed by the Sixteenth talent agency. [15]

In 2020, Edwards published The Uni-Verse: The Ultimate Guide to Surviving University with Harper Collins. [16] [17] In 2021, Edwards launched Ink Outside the Box, a stationery company. [18] In 2023, Edwards announced that he would be closing down the company. [19] In 2023, Edwards was announced as a "thinker in residence" for that year's Hay Festival, focusing on digital storytelling and online media. [20] As part of his role, he interviewed Alice Oseman. jacksepticeye Irish YouTuber (born 1990)

Seán William McLoughlin, better known publicly as jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTuber. Much of McLoughlin's YouTube content centres around gaming and vlogs. As of March 2024, his YouTube channel has accumulated 16.6 billion views and 30.6 million subscribers, making it the 2nd most-subscribed Irish channel on YouTube.

If a passerby can understand and complete the challenge first, they receive the money. Challenges often take place on university campuses, especially their former school Elon University, and require multiple steps or are cryptic in some nature. Since the COVID-19 lockdowns, their content was revised to its current form and has become more popular, resulting in collaborations with major organizations and other content creators including MrBeast and Trevor Wallace.

She additionally hosts the YouTube channel Celine & Michiel with her partner and fellow influencer Michiel Callebaut. Dept is known for her content relating to football, dance, lip syncs, and pranks. She has been sponsored by various brands, and started her own clothing line in 2022.
