Jackie Chan is a prolific singer who started producing records in the early 80s. He started singing the theme songs over the closing credits of his films in 1980, when the film The Young Master was produced. Chan sang its theme song, titled "Kung Fu Fighting Man" entirely in English. [1] [2] Since then he has produced over 20 different albums, singing over 100 songs in over five languages, and has teamed up with singers such as Emil Chau and the late Anita Mui. [3] His personal achievements also include winning Best Foreign Singer Award in Japan in 1984.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese alternative rock band formed in Yokohama in 1996. The Master is a 1980 martial arts film produced in Hong Kong. It was directed by Lu Chin Ku and produced by the Shaw Brothers Studio. While The Master was Lu's attempt at kung fu comedy similar to Jackie Chan movies of the time, he continued on to create films with a more fantastical flair.

"Never Say Never" is a song by Canadian singer Justin Bieber. The song is used as the theme song for The Karate Kid, and features a rap verse from the film's star, Jaden Smith. Originally a risque demo with sexual lyrics performed by American singer Travis Garland, it was written and produced by The Messengers, and Omarr Rambert. However, Bieber was tapped to record the song for the film. He re-wrote the song with the original artists along with Jaden Smith and his vocal producer Kuk Harrell, to feature inspirational lyrics to foil the film's theme.
