Rabbi Jacob Meir Biderman (1870–1941) [1] was the president of Kolel Polen (קופת רבי מאיר בעל הנס - כולל פולין), in 1935 was appointed to the board of Rabbis of the Warsaw community, along with Rabbi Menachem Zemba and Rabbi Avraham Weinberg.
Born in the town of Lubicz (Lubitsch) 6 Sep 1869, to his father Rabbi Nathan Solomon Betzalel Biderman, Rabbi of the town. His grandfather was Rabbi Yaakov Dovid, rabbi of Kozhnitz and Wyszogrod.

Góra Kalwaria is a town on the Vistula River in the Mazovian Voivodship, Poland, about 25 kilometres southeast of Warsaw. It has a population of about 11,000 (1992). The town has significance for both Catholic Christians and Hasidic Jews. Originally, its name was simply Góra, changed in 1670 to Nowa Jerozolima, and in the 18th century to Góra Kalwaria.
Avraham Mordechai Alter, also known as the Imrei Emes after the works he authored, was the fourth Rebbe of the Hasidic dynasty of Ger, a position he held from 1905 until his death in 1948. He was one of the founders of the Agudas Israel in Poland and was influential in establishing a network of Jewish schools there. It is claimed that at one stage he led over 200,000 Hasidim.
Yisrael Alter,, also known as the Beit Yisrael after the works he authored, was the fifth Rebbe of the Hasidic dynasty of Ger, a position he held from 1948 until 1977.
He published Sfas Emes, the writings of his father-in-law on the Talmud, together with his own additional scholarly notes.

Rabbi Shmuel Dovid Ungar, also known as Rabbi Samuel David Ungar, was the rabbi of the Slovakian city of Nitra and dean of the last surviving yeshiva in occupied Europe during World War II. He was the father-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Michael Dov Weissmandl, and played a minor role in the Bratislava Working Group's efforts to save Slovak Jews from the Holocaust.

Yosef Shlomo Kahaneman (1886–1969), יוסף שלמה כהנמן, known also as Ponevezher Rav, was an Orthodox rabbi and rosh yeshiva of the Ponevezh Yeshiva. He was a renowned Torah and Talmudic scholar, a distinguished member of the Council of Torah Sages of Agudath Israel.
In his late years he suffered from diabetes, but even then he continued his studies and his teaching. In 1940, with the establishment of the Warsaw ghetto, his health worsened due to lack of drugs and under suitable conditions, and on 08,06,1941 died and was buried next to the Warsaw hospital.
He married Ester Alter (d. 1 Oct 1943) in 1884
Their daughter Feige Mintche Biderman (b. 28 Jan 1890) married (1922) her uncle Rabbi Avrohom Mordechai (b. 25 12.1866 Gora Kalwaria “Gur” Poland, d. 3 Jun 1948 Jerusalem) She was his second wife.

Ger or Gur is a Hasidic dynasty originating from Góra Kalwaria, a small town in Poland. The founder of the dynasty was Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Alter (1798–1866), known as the Chiddushei HaRim after his primary scholarly work by that title. Before the Holocaust, followers of Ger were estimated to number in excess of 100,000, making it the largest and most influential Hasidic groups in Poland. Today, the movement is based in Jerusalem, and its membership is estimated at 13,000 families, most of whom live in Israel, making Ger the largest Hasidic dynasty in Israel. However, there are also well-established Ger communities in Brooklyn, New York, and London, UK; and minor Ger communities in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Los Angeles, California.

Yehudah Aryeh Leib Alter, also known by the title of his main work, the Sfas Emes or Sefat Emetשפת אמת, was a Hasidic rabbi who succeeded his grandfather, Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Alter, as the Av beis din and Rav of Góra Kalwaria, Poland, and succeeded Rabbi Chanokh Heynekh HaKohen Levin of Aleksander as Rebbe of the Gerrer Hasidim.
