Jacob Ross Guymer (born 21 June 1993) is an Australian male volleyball player. He plays for the Australia men's national volleyball team. At club level he plays for Orkelljunga VK. [1]
Beach volleyball is a team sport played by two teams of two or more players on a sand court divided by a net. Similar to indoor volleyball, the objective of the game is to send the ball over the net and to ground it on the opponent's side of the court. Each team also works in unison to prevent the opposing team from grounding the ball on their side of the court.
Misty Elizabeth May-Treanor is a retired American professional beach volleyball player. She is a three-time Olympic gold medalist, and as of August 2012, was the most successful female beach volleyball player having won 112 tournaments in domestic and international competition.
Charles Frederick " Karch" Kiraly is an American volleyball player, coach, and broadcast announcer. In the 1980s he was a central part of the U.S National Team that won gold medals at the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games. He went on to win the gold medal again at the 1996 Olympic Games, the first Olympic competition to feature beach volleyball. He is the only player to have won Olympic medals of any color in both the indoor and beach volleyball categories. He played college volleyball for the UCLA Bruins, where his teams won three national championships under head coach Al Scates.
The FIVB Volleyball World League was an annual international men's volleyball competition. Created in 1990, it was the longest and richest of all the international events organized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The women's version of the competition was called FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix. This event should not be confused with the other international volleyball competitions, the World Championship, the World Cup and the World Grand Champions Cup.
Lorenzo Bernardi is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player, a silver medallist at the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996, two–time World Champion, and a two–time European Champion.
Andrea Giani is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player who scored numerous successes in the 1990s, including three World Championships with his national team. He is considered one of the best volleyball players ever. He was an all-rounder able to play both as outside hitter and as middle blocker, but he played several times as opposite too.
Nikola Grbić is a Serbian professional volleyball coach and former player, who is currently serving as head coach for the Poland national team. Grbić is the Olympic Champion Sydney 2000, a bronze medallist in the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996, and a multiple World Championship, European Championship and World League medallist. He was named the European Player of the Year in 2007 and inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Gilberto Amauri de Godoy Filho, known as Giba, is a Brazilian former professional volleyball player who played as an outside hitter. For much of the 2000s, he was widely regarded as one of the best volleyball players in the world. During his professional career he played in Brazil, Italy, Russia, Argentina and briefly in the United Arab Emirates. He is mostly remembered for his successes with the national team.

Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson is an American professional volleyball player. He is part of the US national team, and is a bronze medalist at the Olympic Games Rio 2016 and the 2018 World Championship, the 2014 World League and the 2015 World Cup winner. At the professional club level, he plays for Zenit Kazan.
Melissa Humana-Paredes is a Canadian beach volleyball player, who is partnered with Brandie Wilkerson. Humana-Paredes won the women's gold medal with Sarah Pavan at the 2019 Beach Volleyball World Championships.
Nehemiah Mote is an Australian volleyball player. Nehemiah was offered an AIS scholarship in 2013 after a three-month trial, and represented NSW at the Australian Junior Volleyball Championships. He was selected to represent Australia for the first time in the Under 23's Junior World Championships in Brazil. He previously played for TV Bühl and Berlin Recycling Volleys in Germany and Volley Amriswil in Switzerland. Mote currently plays for VfB Friedrichshafen.
Ilka Van de Vyver is a Belgian volleyball player. She is a member of the Belgium women's national volleyball team and plays for Rote Raben Vilsbiburg since 2017.
Sarah Lindsey Pavan is a Canadian beach volleyball and former indoor volleyball player. She was part of the Canada women's national volleyball team at the 2010 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship in Japan. With Melissa Humana-Paredes she won the women's gold medal at the 2019 Beach Volleyball World Championships.
Jordan Richards is an Australian male volleyball player. He is part of the Australia men's national volleyball team. On club level he plays for Sporting Clube de Portugal.
