Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson,known professionally as Tove Lo,is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She has been called "Sweden's darkest pop export" by Rolling Stone. She is known for her raw,grunge-influenced take on pop music. Her honest,complex and autobiographical lyrical content has led to her being dubbed "the saddest girl in Sweden".
Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo has released five studio albums,one extended play (EP),25 singles,seven promotional singles and 37 music videos. Lo started her career as the lead singer and songwriter in math rock band Tremblebee from 2006 until 2009. In 2011,she signed a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music,and started recording songs. She self-released "Love Ballad" as her debut single in October 2012. The next year,Lo released "Habits",which received positive feedback from music blogs and led her to sign a record deal with Universal Music Group. Timucin Lam,known professionally as Jax Jones,is an English DJ,songwriter,record producer and remixer. He rose to fame in 2014 by featuring on Duke Dumont's number-one single "I Got U". He followed this up with his own singles "You Don't Know Me" featuring Raye and "Instruction" featuring Demi Lovato and Stefflon Don in 2016 and 2017,respectively. Jax's debut studio album,Snacks (Supersize),was released on 6 September 2019. It was preceded by the single "One Touch" featuring Jess Glynne.

Europa is a musical duo created by DJ Jax Jones and Martin Solveig in 2019. Jones teased the formation of Europa as well as their first track on Twitter on the 26 March 2019. It was released later the same year titled "All Day and Night" wherein the artists collaborated with Madison Beer as the featuring artist. It would go on to feature in Jones' album,Snacks (Supersize). The duo created their second single with Raye titled "Tequila" in February 2020,which was released as a non-album single.

Snacks (Supersize) is the debut album by British DJ and record producer Jax Jones,released on 6 September 2019 through Polydor Records. The album expands on his previous release,his 2018 EP Snacks as part of an experimental release strategy that involved new singles being added to the EP as they were released before the addition of six new songs for the release of the full album. In the weeks preceding the release,a brand new collaboration with Tove Lo titled "Jacques" was released as the lead single whilst the Ella Henderson collaboration "This Is Real" was promoted during the week of release. It was released as the album's second single on 21 October 2019.

The single also featured the ballad "Passion and Pain Taste the Same When I'm Weak",written by Lo and Finneas.
