Jai Prakash Bhai Patel is an Indian politician from Jharkhand. He was elected to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Mandu Assembly constituency as a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party. [1] Patel is a son of late Tek Lal Mahto. [2] He left Bharatiya Janata Party and joined Indian National Congress on 20 March 2024.
Although India is a parliamentary democracy,the country's politics has become dynastic or with high level of nepotism,possibly due to the absence of party organizations,independent civil-society associations which mobilize support for a party,or centralized financing of elections. The dynastic phenomenon is present at the national,state,regional,and district level. Kuldeep Bishnoi is an Indian politician and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as fourth-time member of Haryana Legislative Assembly from Adampur in the Hisar (city) of Haryana. He was also a member of Congress Central Working Committee (CWC). Earlier in 2007,Bishnoi had founded a new party,Haryana Janhit Congress,a breakaway faction of Indian National Congress.
Tek Lal Mahto was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He was one of the founders and key members of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) political party,and served five terms in the Jharkhand state legislature. He was a delegate to the Bihar assembly in 1985,represented the Giridih constituency in the Lok Sabha between 2004 and 2009,and JMM from Mandu Assembly constituency at the time of his death. He died of a cardiac arrest at the hospital of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences where he was admitted the day before. He was survived by wife,two sons Ram Prakash Bhai Patel and Jai Prakash Bhai Patel with three daughters.
Babulal Marandi is an Indian politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its Jharkhand unit president. He was the first Chief Minister of Jharkhand and formerly Leader of the Legislature Party of BJP in the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly. He was also the founder and national President of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik),which he later merged with BJP.
