Jaime Mela (born 17 November 1890, date of death unknown) was a Spanish fencer. [1] He competed in the team sabre event at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]

A total of 76 cyclists finished the race. The event was won by Hennie Kuiper of the Netherlands, the nation's first victory in the men's individual road race and first medal in the event since 1948. Clyde Sefton earned Australia's first medal in the event with his silver. Jaime Huélamo of Spain finished third, but was disqualified after failing a drug test; the medal was not reassigned. Italy missed the podium, breaking a four-Games streak of gold and silver medals.
Arturo J. Rodríguez Jurado was an Argentinian boxer and rugby union player. As a boxer, he competed at the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics. In 1924, he lost his first fight against Thyge Petersen and was eliminated in the first round of the light heavyweight class. In 1928 Rodríguez Jurado won the gold medal, after beating Nils Ramm in the heavy weight category. This was the first gold medal won by Argentina in boxing.
