Jakarta International Literary Festival or JILF is an annual literary festival held at Jakarta in Indonesia. The goal of the festival is to promote Indonesian literature in international literary platforms. The first literary festival was taken place at the Taman Ismail Marzuki, which was initiated by Jakarta Arts Council. [1] The Jakarta Arts Council is an organization founded by Indonesian artists, which had been officially stated by then Governor of Jakarta, Ali Sadikin, on June 17, 1969.

Authors from Asia and Africa are to participate in the festival. [2]

A literary festival, also known as a book festival or writers' festival, is a regular gathering of writers and readers, typically on an annual basis in a particular city. A literary festival usually features a variety of presentations and readings by authors, as well as other events, delivered over a period of several days, with the primary objectives of promoting the authors' books and fostering a love of literature and writing.

In 2020, her third novel, Fall Baby, won the Singapore Book Award for Best Literary Work. She also writes widely on culture and politics including for the Jakarta Post and the Indonesian newsmagazine Tempo, as well as international publications such as South China Morning Post and the Guardian.

Jakarta Fair is a fair held annually in Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Jakarta, Indonesia, in June and July. It features exhibitions, trade promotions, shopping, music performances, various shows, amusement rides and a food festival. Jakarta Fair is part of a series of events to held to celebrate the capital's anniversary, which falls on June 22. The Jakarta Fair sees exhibitors from across the country display a whole range of goods and products ranging from specialty food items to traditional handmade arts and crafts. In addition to the many exhibitors, there is also live entertainment including music, dance and cultural performances.

Kemang is a neighborhood in southern part of Jakarta, Indonesia. The area is located mostly in Bangka subdistrict of Mampang Prapatan and partly within Pejaten subdistrict of Pasar Minggu. The main area of Kemang is marked by the roads of Kemang Raya, Prapanca, and Bangka Streets.
