Jake David Fawcett (born 22 March 1990) is an Australian cricketer. He has played two List A cricket games for Western Australia. In the Ashes series against England he was a substitute fielder when Ryan Harris got Paul Collingwood on the last ball of the day. In 2012,he was a contestant on the reality television show Cricket Superstar . [1]

It was played over a three-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield season. In the final,New South Wales,who qualified for the final through a victory in an elimination final against Victoria,were successful over Queensland,who won every round robin game except for one.

It started on 26 October 2017 and finished on 27 March 2018. The opening round of matches were played as day/night fixtures and the first three rounds of matches took place before the Ashes series. Victoria were the defending champions.
