Petaling Jaya is part of the metropolitan area of Kuala Lumpur with an area of approximately 97.2 square kilometre. Petaling Jaya is the closest city to Kuala Lumpur, and the only city that adjoining and direct link to Kuala Lumpur.
Selangor, also known by its Arabic honorific Darul Ehsan, or "Abode of Sincerity", is one of the 13 states of Malaysia.
