Jalil Tarif is a Jordanian economist. He currently serves as the Secretary General of the Arab Union for Securities Commissions.
Jalil Tarif obtained his Bachelor of Science in economics from the University of Jordan in 1978. [1] He also holds a Diploma in Economics from the International Development Center of Japan and an M.A. in economics from the University of Jordan.
Tarif started his career in the Central Bank of Jordan and held the positions of executive director and Deputy Director General in Amman Financial Market between 1992 and 1999, where he oversaw Jordan's entire capital market. Through his role as Deputy Director General, Tarif assisted in writing the new securities law that implemented the three separate entities that make up Jordan's Capital Market today. In 1999, Jalil Tarif was appointed as the first chief executive officer of Amman Stock Exchange. During his tenure as CEO, the ASE has implemented electronic trading system and all of the rules and regulations required to run the ASE. He left his position as chief executive officer in December 2012 to become the Secretary General of the Arab Union for Securities Commissions located in Dubai. [2]
Some of the roles Tarif has held during his career include: President, NSC-Unix user group, Atos-Euro Next Market Solutions; Chairman of IOSCO Self-Regulatory Organization Consultative Committee; Member, OECD Corporate Governance Working Group, MENA region; Chairman of FIAS. In addition, Tarif spearheaded the team that established the Stock Exchange in Palestine. He also participated in meetings with the IMF, IBRD, IOSCO, WFE, FEAS, and UNCTAD.

Mahmoud Mohieldin, is an economist with more than 30 years of experience in international finance and development. He is the UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for Egypt. He is an Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund. He has been the United Nations Special Envoy on Financing the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda since February 2020. He was the Minister of Investment of Egypt from 2004-2010, and most recently, served as the World Bank Group Senior Vice President for the 2030 Development Agenda, United Nations Relations and Partnerships. His roles at the World Bank also included Managing Director, responsible for Human Development, Sustainable Development, Poverty Reduction and Economic Management, Finance and Private Sector Development, and the World Bank Institute; World Bank President's Special Envoy on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), the Post-2015 Development Agenda, and Financing for Development; and Corporate Secretary and Executive Secretary to the Development Committee of the World Bank Group's Board of Governors. Dr Mohieldin also served on several Boards of Directors in the Central Bank of Egypt and the corporate sector. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Durham University Business School. He also holds leading positions in national, regional and international research centres and associations. He has authored numerous publications and articles in leading journals in the fields of economics, finance and development.

The Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) is a non-profit international organization comprising the main stock exchanges in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. The purpose of the Federation is to contribute to the cooperation, development, support and promotion of capital markets in Eurasia, although membership in the Federation is open to markets internationally. It was established on 16 May 1995 with 12 founding members in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently, the FEAS has 30 members which include stock exchanges, post trade institutions, dealers associations, and regional federations from 29 countries. The Federation's headquarters are located in Yerevan, Armenia.

Hassan Abdullah is an Egyptian financier. He is the current governor of the Central Bank of Egypt. He previously held the chief executive officer position of the Arab African International Bank (AAIB), a regional financial services institution that was Egypt's first Arab multinational bank. Abdullah first joined the AAIB in 1982 and became its CEO in 2002. He is also a board member at the American University in Cairo (AUC). In August 2022, Abdullah was appointed as the new acting governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) by presidential decree.
