Jamal Kakakhel was a Pakistani regional politician, social worker and the chief of his tribe "Kakakhel" at village Dandoka.
In 1951, the Governor of NWFP, Khurshid Ali Khan visited to him at his village and was impressed by his work as "Judicial Assessor". He said:
It has been an honour for me that I have been invited here by a brave, noble, straight forward and devoted worker of Pakistan's Movement. I have found Mian Hazrat Jamal Kakakhel as the most sincere and devoted Assessors among all the Assessors acting through whole of NWFP. The taste of hospitality which I received here enlighteness the grace of the personality of Main Sahib. Such peoples born very rarely even in centuries. I love such peoples and I have always prayed that such personalities may produce in this society. Because societies are fuelled not by impersonals but by personalities, and Mian Hazrat Jamal Kakakhel has been absolutely among those model personalities. [1]

Major General Mian Gulam Jilani was a two-star general officer in the Pakistan Army who, as an Indian Army officer during the Second World War had survived a Japanese PoW camp at Singapore. He subsequently rose to help negotiate Pakistan's membership in the Baghdad Pact and the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization. An ethnic Pashtun, he retired from the Pakistan Army in 1962 and was jailed 1973 for his political beliefs. Amnesty International declared him a prisoner of conscience in 1974. He escaped from custody and took political asylum in the United States in 1975.

Alhaj Khursheed Ahmad or Khurshid Ahmad was a Naat Khawan from Pakistan. He started to recite Naats when he was only a few years old, and by the time of his death he had recited thousands of Naats. He used to proficiently recite Naats not only in Urdu, but also in other languages such as Punjabi, Saraiki, Pashto and Sindhi. The 28 October 2009 Peshawar bombing occurred in Peshawar, Pakistan, when a car bomb was detonated in a Mina Bazar of the city. Dandoqa is a village in Swabi District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It is located at 34°10'50N 72°18'56E with an altitude of 319 metres (1049 feet). It is surrounded by the villages of Tarakai, Yarhussain, Dagi and Sikandari on its north, west, east south respectively. Its population is 4000 to 7000 (2007). The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) is a public university located in Mardan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
