Political life

In 1951, the Governor of NWFP, Khurshid Ali Khan visited to him at his village and was impressed by his work as "Judicial Assessor". He said:

It has been an honour for me that I have been invited here by a brave, noble, straight forward and devoted worker of Pakistan's Movement. I have found Mian Hazrat Jamal Kakakhel as the most sincere and devoted Assessors among all the Assessors acting through whole of NWFP. The taste of hospitality which I received here enlighteness the grace of the personality of Main Sahib. Such peoples born very rarely even in centuries. I love such peoples and I have always prayed that such personalities may produce in this society. Because societies are fuelled not by impersonals but by personalities, and Mian Hazrat Jamal Kakakhel has been absolutely among those model personalities. [1]

Now at present, once again Safdarabad has been rejoined with Sheikhupura as a Tehsil. The city of Safdarabad lies 95 km from Lahore the provincial capital of Punjab. The area has a population of more than 40,000 the majority of whom are Muslims. There are many engineering and medical students from Safdarabad admitted to different universities across Pakistan, including UET, Lahore.

Mian Ghulam Jilani

Major General Mian Gulam Jilani was a two-star general officer in the Pakistan Army who, as an Indian Army officer during the Second World War had survived a Japanese PoW camp at Singapore. He subsequently rose to help negotiate Pakistan's membership in the Baghdad Pact and the Southeast Asia Treaty Organization. An ethnic Pashtun, he retired from the Pakistan Army in 1962 and was jailed 1973 for his political beliefs. Amnesty International declared him a prisoner of conscience in 1974. He escaped from custody and took political asylum in the United States in 1975.

Chaukhandi tombs

The Chaukhanditombs form an early Islamic cemetery situated 29 km (18 mi) east of Karachi, Sindh province of Pakistan. The tombs are notable for their elaborate sandstone carvings. The tombs are similar in style to the elaborate tombs at the Makli Necropolis near Thatta, and are built in the funerary architectural style typical of lower Sindh.

Mazdoor Kisan Party Political party in Pakistan

The Mazdoor Kisan Party is a political party in Pakistan with communist and socialist leanings. The MKP was founded on 1 May 1968 by Afzal Bangash and Sher Ali Bacha. In the 1970s, it led a militant communist movement in the Hashtnagar region of Charsadda District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Jam Saqi

Jam Saqi popularly known as Comrade Jam Saqi, was a left-wing politician from Sindh, Pakistan. He was previously the general secretary of the Communist Party of Pakistan. Saqi was imprisoned for more than 15 years due to his political activities. During his period in jail his then wife, Sukhan, had committed suicide after reading a newspaper containing allegations of Jam Saqi's death. He then left the Communist Party in 1991 and joined the Pakistan Peoples Party and the Trotskyist The Struggle group. He was married to Akhtar Sultana.

Alhaj Khursheed Ahmad or Khurshid Ahmad was a Naat Khawan from Pakistan. He started to recite Naats when he was only a few years old, and by the time of his death he had recited thousands of Naats. He used to proficiently recite Naats not only in Urdu, but also in other languages such as Punjabi, Saraiki, Pashto and Sindhi. The melody of his voice and the unique way of reciting attracted numerous people towards him and soon he had become a famous Naat Khawan.

Mian Muhibullah Kakakhel is a Pakistani lawyer and senior advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the former presidential candidate for Pakistan.

Fatima Begum is a revered woman of the Pakistan Movement.

The 28 October 2009 Peshawar bombing occurred in Peshawar, Pakistan, when a car bomb was detonated in a Mina Bazar of the city. The bomb killed 137 people and injured more than 200 others, making it the deadliest attack in Peshawar's history. Pakistani government officials believe the Taliban to be responsible, but both Taliban and Al-Qaeda sources have denied involvement in the attack.

Dandoqa is a village in Swabi District of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. It is located at 34°10'50N 72°18'56E with an altitude of 319 metres (1049 feet). It is surrounded by the villages of Tarakai, Yarhussain, Dagi and Sikandari on its north, west, east south respectively. Its population is 4000 to 7000 (2007). The entire village mostly has an arid climate with minimum rainfall. The land is mostly of agricultural use and the population is multi-racial.

The Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) is a public university located in Mardan, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Established in April 2009, the university is named after Abdul Wali Khan, a prominent personality of Pashtunkhwa and has forty nine institutions affiliated to it. The university started in an already-built postgraduate college of Mardan, has nine campuses and more than ten thousand students enrolled in thirty one disciplines as of 2015. The campus at Swabi was opened in October 2010 in the Anbar elementary college building and has since then become the University of Swabi and the Palosa campus is home to Bacha Khan University. Currently the university has five faculties and three constituent colleges. Asad Qaiser Pakistani politician

Asad Qaiser is a Pakistani politician who is serving as Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, in office since August 2018. He has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, since August 2018. Previously, he was the member of the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from 2013 to 2018 and served as the 14th Speaker of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, from May 2013 to August 2018.

Abdus Salim Khan, also known as Khan Sahib was an Indian Civil Servant who later joined Pakistani Civil Service to become a diplomat. He served as an ambassador to several countries representing Pakistan.

Khurshid Anwar was an activist of All-India Muslim League, heading its private militia, the Muslim League National Guard. Described as a "shadowy figure" and "complete adventurer", he is generally addressed as a "Major" in Pakistani sources. He was a key figure in the rise of the Muslim League during 1946–47, organising its campaigns in Punjab and North-West Frontier Province, prior to India's partition. After the independence of Pakistan, he was instrumental in organising the tribal invasion of Kashmir, leading to the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947.

Mian Sahib , Mian Jo Goth(Sindhi: ميان جو گوٺ) is the town of Shikarpur District in the Sindh Province of Pakistan, and a union council. It is located at 28°9'17"N 68°38'32"E at an altitude of 59 metres. Mian Sahib, is a historical village of Shikarpur District, it borders with the nearest town Mubarakpur, Jacobabad town of Jacobabad District and it's also the largest town of the thesil Khanpur, Sindh Of Shikarpur District.
