James Denny (born 20 September 1993) is a British diver from Leeds who specialises in events from the 10 m platform.

Career

Denny started diving in 2005. His first achievements at international level came with the 2011 Junior European Championships where he classified 4th from the 1 m springboard and 6th from the 10 m platform. During the period 2011-2014 he competed at the British Championships, where he collected several medals. [1]

He represented England at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, winning a silver medal alongside his partner Tom Daley in the 10 m platform synchro, and classifying 6th in the individual event. [2] Also during the same year, he took part in the 2014 European Aquatics Championships, where he missed on a bronze medal in the 10 m synchro event alongside Tom Daley [3] and achieved a 12th place in the individual final.

Tom Daley British Olympic diver

Thomas Robert Daley is a British diver and television personality. Specialising in multiple events, he is an Olympic gold medallist in the men's synchronised 10-metre platform event at the 2020 Olympics and double world champion in the FINA 10-metre platform event, winning in 2009 at the age of 15, and again in 2017. Jack Laugher British diver

Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears and later Daniel Goodfellow. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. A week later, Laugher won a silver in the men's individual 3m springboard at the same Games, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic diving medals at the same Games.

Qiu Bo is a Chinese diver. He won the silver medal in the 10 metre platform event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is a four-time world champion at the World Aquatics Championships, winning the gold medal three times in the 10m platform event, consecutively in 2011, 2013 and 2015, and winning the gold medal in the synchronized 10m event in 2011.

Christopher James Mears is a British diver and DJ/Producer from Burghfield Common, near Reading, Berkshire. He competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the synchronised 3m springboard event with Jack Laugher and won gold, the first Olympic gold medal for Britain in diving.

Daniel Goodfellow British diver

Daniel Goodfellow is a British diver and an Olympic bronze medalist. He first represented Great Britain as a senior at the 2013 European Diving Championships in the 10 m platform event and the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in the same event. Goodfellow won a bronze medal in the Men's 10m Synchronised Platform event with his diving partner Tom Daley at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. He has also won a gold with Daley in the same event at the Commonwealth Games, and a silver at the European Championships.

Matthew Dixon (diver) British diver

Matthew Dixon is an English diver who represents Great Britain and specialises in the 10 metre platform event. He won a silver medal at the European Championships in the 10 m synchro platform with Noah Williams as well as two silvers at the Commonwealth Games.

Chen Aisen Chinese diver

Chen Aisen is a Chinese diver. He is a double gold medal winner at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He won gold in the men's synchronised 10m platform competition with diving partner Lin Yue, as well as gold in the men's individual 10m platform. Great Britain competed at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships in Kazan, Russia between 24 July to 9 August 2015.

Matthew Lee is a British diver, and an Olympic gold medallist. Adept in both individual and synchronised diving, and across both 3-metre springboard and platform, Lee won the gold medal in 10-metre platform at the 2015 European Games, the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform at the 2017 European Diving Championships and has twice been European junior champion on the 3-metre springboard. At world level, Lee won the silver medal in the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform event at the 2017 World Championships, and at the 2019 World Championships, Lee and Tom Daley won bronze in the 10 m synchro event, as well as gold in July 2021 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Grace Reid is a Scottish diver. She has won two gold medals in European Championships and a gold at the Commonwealth Games.

Noah Williams is an English diver who represents Great Britain and specialises in the 10 metre platform event. He has won silver medals in the 10 metre synchro platform with Matthew Dixon at the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games.

Ross Haslam is British diver. He has represented Great Britain at numerous international events including the European Championships where he won a silver in the mixed synchronised 3 metre springboard, and the World Cup where he won a bronze medal in the same event.
