James Disney-May (born 4 August 1992) is an English competitive swimmer.

He has represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games, and competed for England in the Commonwealth Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, he swam for the British team in the men's 4×100-metre freestyle relay. [1]

Disney-May attended Millfield School from 2005 to 2010. [2]

James Disney-May represented Great Britain at the 2012 London Olympics, competing in the 4x100m freestyle relay and contributing to a 12th-place finish in the preliminary rounds. His collegiate swimming career at Auburn University included two NCAA championships, 12 All-American honors, and seven SEC titles in both individual and relay events. He also received All-SEC First Team honors in 2012 and 2013, along with inclusion in the SEC Academic Honor Roll. [3]

During his senior season (2013-14), he competed in six events at the NCAA Championships, where he earned his second national title as part of the 400 freestyle relay team. He also contributed to Auburn’s school record in the 800 freestyle relay, while securing NCAA automatic qualifying times in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 backstroke. His collegiate record includes multiple relay and individual achievements, placing him among Auburn’s top-ten performers in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke. [4]

In December 2022 Disney-May was sentenced to 21 months in jail with 18 months suspended after pleading guilty to domestic assault against his partner. He was also told to attend counseling sessions, be electronically tracked for four months and had a four year restraining order banning him from contacting his partner and her parents. [5] [6]

Justin Ress is an American swimmer. As a member of the USA national team Justin won the gold medal in the 50 meter backstroke at the 2022 FINA World Championships and was a member of the USA gold medal winning 4X100 free relay. He was also a key part of the USA team that defeated Australia in the resumption of the Duel in the Pool series in 2022. Ress competed as a member of the Cali Condors of the International Swimming League from 2019-2021 and looks forward to resumption of ISL in the near future. Ress was US national champion in the 100 backstroke in 2022 and 50 backstroke in 2017 after which he competed in the men's 50 meter backstroke event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships. Ress swam collegiately for North Carolina State University where he was a 3-time NCAA champion, 21-time NCAA All-American, and 11-time ACC champion. In his first year at school he won the 2016 ACC Freshman of the Year award.

Shaine Casas is an American professional swimmer. He is an Americas record holder in the short course 4×50 meter medley relay, swimming the butterfly leg of the relay. At the 2021 World Short Course Championships, he won the gold medal in the 100-meter backstroke, a silver medal in the 200-meter backstroke, and placed seventh in the 50-meter backstroke. In 2022, at the year's World Aquatics Championships, he won the bronze medal in the 200-metre backstroke. Later in the year, at the 2022 World Short Course Championships, he won the silver medal in the 200-metre backstroke and placed fourth in the finals of the 100-meter individual medley and 200-meter individual medley.

Dean Farris is an American former swimmer. From 2019 until 2024 he was the American record holder in the 200 yard freestyle. He won the 2019 NCAA Division I Championships titles in the 100 yard backstroke and 100 yard freestyle. At the 2019 World University Games he won two gold medals, one in the 4×100 meter freestyle relay and one in the 4×200 meter freestyle relay.

At the 2019 World Junior Championships, he won gold medals in the 200 meter freestyle, 200 meter butterfly, 4×100 meter freestyle relay, 4×200 meter freestyle relay, and 4×100 meter mixed freestyle relay.
