James Little (American politician)

James Little was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1859. His grandson, Emery Crosby, was also a member of the Assembly. [1]

Family Legacy

James Little’s political legacy continued through his grandson, Emery W. Crosby. Born on December 29, 1874, in Sheboygan Falls. Crosby was not only a student at institutions like Glenbeulah High School, UW–Oshkosh, and Northwestern University, but also made significant contributions to public life. He served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1914, held positions on the Clark County Board, and was elected District Attorney before being appointed as a Wisconsin Circuit Court judge, extending the family's public service tradition [2] [3]
