Early life and career

Axiotis was born in Athens Greece. He was adopted by Greek Americans and the family moved to Southern California.

After graduating, Axiotis started working as an executive producer and director. He has worked on a multitude of feature films and TV shows, including The Bridges of Madison County , Marriage Boot Camp , Reality Stars , The Postman Always Rings Twice , The Puppet Master , Hell's Kitchen , America's Most Wanted , Cold Case Files , Table for One and NBC Nightly News . Axiotis has served in the capacity of Vice President of Post-production and Post-Producer at AT&T/Audience Network. He is in his second term serving on the National Board of directors for the Producers Guild of America and a member of the Producers Guild of Europe, Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, American Film Institute, Greek American Foundation, and Order of AHEPA. The eighth season of Hell's Kitchen, an American reality competition television series starring Gordon Ramsay, was filmed over the course of 4 weeks in May 2010, and premiered on the Fox Network on September 22, 2010, and continued until December 15, 2010. Sous Chef Nona Sivley won the competition, earning a head chef position at the L.A. Market restaurant at the JW Marriott Hotel at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, as well as an opportunity to be a spokesperson for Rosemount Estate Wines. This would be the last season to feature 16 contestants, until season 17.
