The Queensland men's cricket team or the Queensland Bulls is the Brisbane-based Queensland representative cricket side in Australia's domestic cricket tournaments:
Nathan Wade Bracken is a former Australian cricketer. A tall left-arm fast-medium bowler,Bracken is capable of swinging the ball both ways. He has represented Australia in all forms of the game. Bracken represented New South Wales in Australian domestic cricket,Eastern Suburbs in Sydney Grade Cricket and also appeared for English County team Gloucestershire in 2004. The Sheffield Shield is the domestic first-class cricket competition of Australia. The tournament is contested between teams representing the six states of Australia. The Sheffield Shield is named after Lord Sheffield.

A left hand opening batsman,his form for Tasmania throughout the mid-1990s earned him a call up for the Australian national cricket team in the One Day International arena,although after nine games he was dropped. Like some of his contemporary Tasmanian teammates such as Jamie Cox,Dene Hills,and Shaun Young,Di Venuto can be considered unlucky to have not had a more successful international career,as he was playing at a time when the Australian national cricket team was highly dominant,and difficult to earn selection for. After retiring from Durham,he was appointed Australia's full-time batting coach by head coach Mickey Arthur,and was then head coach of Surrey from 2016 until 2020.
Intercolonial cricket matches were the first-class cricket matches played between the various colonies of Australia prior to federation in 1901. After federation,they became known as Interstate matches. By the 1880s regular intercolonials were being played,generally with intense rivalry. Matches against visiting professional teams from England also attracted public interest.
The 2008–09 Sheffield Shield season was the 107th season of official first-class domestic cricket in Australia. After nine seasons of being named the Pura Cup,it was announced that the Australian interstate trophy would return to its previous name of the Sheffield Shield as part of a new sponsorship agreement with Weet-Bix. The season began on 10 October 2008 when Queensland took on Tasmania at the Gabba. The two points table leaders at the end of the regular season,Victoria and Queensland,played each other in the final at the Junction Oval,with Victoria becoming Sheffield Shield champions after a drawn match thanks to their superior results in the regular season.

The 2018 JLT One-Day Cup was the 50th season of the official List A domestic cricket competition in Australia. It was played over a four-week period at the start of the domestic season to separate its schedule from the Sheffield Shield season. The tournament was held in Townsville,Sydney,Perth and Melbourne. Fox Cricket broadcast 13 matches from the tournament. The tournament was sponsored by Jardine Lloyd Thompson.

For the first time in six seasons,the competition featured no day/night matches. The 2020–21 Sheffield Shield season was the 119th season of the Sheffield Shield,the Australian domestic first-class cricket competition. On 26 June 2020,Cricket Australia confirmed all the squads for the 2020–21 domestic cricket season. Cricket Australia also confirmed that the tournament would use the Kookaburra ball for all the matches,after using the Duke ball since the 2016–17 season. New South Wales were the defending champions.
The 2021–22 Sheffield Shield season was the 120th of the Australian inter-state domestic first-class cricket competition. Queensland were the defending champions.
