Jamie Broder (born June 8, 1985 in Victoria, British Columbia) [1] is a Canadian beach volleyball player. Broder has qualified to compete (along with partner Kristina Valjas) at the 2016 Summer Olympics. [2] They made it to the round of 16 however they paired up against the other Canadian team of Pavan and Bansley and lost in straight sets.

She played CIS volleyball with the UBC Thunderbirds for two seasons where she was a member of the 2008 CIS women's volleyball championship team. [3]

Visa FIVB Beach Volleyball International

The Visa FIVB Beach Volleyball International was a women's beach volleyball tournament held at Horse Guards Parade, London, between 9 and 14 August 2011. It was the beach volleyball test event for the 2012 Summer Olympics and was part of the London Prepares series. The tournament, run as an exhibition, was won by the Brazilian pair Maestrini and Vieira. 2,274 tonnes of sand was transported to the parade ground for the event. After the tournament the sand went to several locations within London to fulfill a legacy promise. The stadium had a capacity of 1,500 spectators. Play was affected by the 2011 England riots.

With former teammate Greta Cicolari, she achieved a career-high world ranking of No. 4 in August 2012. Nada Meawad Egyptian volleyball player

Nada Meawad is an Egyptian indoor and beach volleyball player, a member of the Egypt women's national volleyball team. She made her international debut when she was 15 years old on the 2013 FIVB Volleyball Girls' U18 World Championship in Thailand. She started playing in El Shams Club at the age of five years old. Nada Meawad and her teammate Doaa Elghobashy were the first ever African team to take part in the FIVB beach volleyball Olympic Games in 2016. She is a three-time AVCA First Team All-American and 2018 NAIA Player of the Year while playing college volleyball at Park University.

Marisa Field is a Canadian female volleyball player who twice represented her home country in the FIVB World Championship, in 2010 and 2014.
