Johannes "Jan" Jiskoot (born 3 March 1940 in Dordrecht) is a retired Dutch swimmer who won two medals in medley events at the 1962 European Aquatics Championships. [1] He also participated in the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics and was sixth in the 400 m medley. [2] He started as a backstroke swimmer, but then leaned more to butterfly and medley. On 18 September 1962 he set the European 100 m batterfly record at 0:59:50, becoming the first European to swim 100 m butterfly within one minute. Between 1960 and 1966 he was 14 times national champion and set more than 20 national records in various backstroke, butterfly and medley events. [3]

Kornelia ("Corrie") Winkel is a former backstroke swimmer from the Netherlands. She finished second in the 100 m backstroke at the 1962 European Aquatics Championships. Two years later she who won the silver medal in the 4×100 m medley relay at the 1964 Summer Olympics. At the same Olympics she finished in 14th position in the individual 100 m backstroke. Between 1962 and 1964 she set eight national and two European records in the 100 m and 200 m backstroke and 4 × 100 m medley events.

Kevin John Berry, OAM, was an Australian butterfly swimmer of the 1960s who won the gold medal in the 200-metre butterfly at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. He set twelve world records in his career.

Benedict "Ben" Hesen is an American swimmer from Jeffersonville, Indiana. He is the son of Ben and Cheryl Hesen, and has one brother. He attended Jeffersonville High School and grew up swimming for Keith Gast at Pacesetter Aquatics. He was a member of the U.S. National Team in the 100M backstroke.

Magnus Jákupsson is a professional swimmer who swam for the Faroe Islands until 2012 and for Denmark since 2013. He is also swimming for Farum Svømmeklub since March 2015. Earlier he swam for the Danish clubs SIGMA Nordsjælland and Vestegnens Aqua Team (VAT) and for the Faroese club Havnar Svimjifelag. Until 2012 he held several Faroese records, he holds the second most Faroese men's swimming records, after Pál Joensen. His Faroese records are in backstroke, individual medley and butterfly. He moved to Denmark in 2011, and the following year he changed his swimming nationality to Danish. After that he can only set Danish records, not Faroese, and he can only represent Denmark in swimming competitions. Until he changed swimming nationality he was the record holder of six individual Faroese records on short course and eight individual Faroese records on long course.

Michele Lamberti is a competitive Italian swimmer. He is a former world record holder in the short course 4×50-metre medley relay. He currently holds the Italian record in the short course 50-metre backstroke. At the 2021 European Short Course Championships he won a gold medal and set a world record in the 4×50-metre medley relay, won three silver medals, one in the 50-metre backstroke, one in the 100-metre butterfly, and one in the 4×50-metre mixed medley relay, and won a bronze medal in the 200-metre backstroke. At the 2021 World Short Course Championships he won two bronze medals in relay events, swimming in the preliminaries for each relay.

Roos Vanotterdijk is a Belgian competitive swimmer. She is the Belgian record holder in the long course 50 metre freestyle, 100 metre freestyle, 50 metre backstroke, 100 metre backstroke, and 100 metre butterfly, as well as the short course 50 metre backstroke and 100 metre individual medley. She is a six-time medalist in individual events at the European Junior Swimming Championships and medalist at the European Youth Olympic Festival.
