Jan Op De Beeck, 2008

Jan Op De Beeck (born 1958 in Congo) is a famous [1] Belgian caricature artist. He was born in the Congo and moved to Belgium in 1960. He obtained a mastership in 1979 at Sint-Thomas in Brussels and graduated in model drawing at the Royal Academy in Mechelen. He started teaching arts in 1979 at the Coloma Institute in Mechelen. [2]

A caricature is a rendered image showing the features of its subject in a simplified or exaggerated way through sketching, pencil strokes, or other artistic drawings. The International Society of Caricature Artists is an international non-profit trade association founded in 1989. Its mission is to elevate the art and artists of caricature, promote the art of caricature, educate the public and the media about the art of caricature and to provide its members with helpful information about caricature as an art form as well as a profession. The ISCA currently (2021) has close to 500 members from around the world. Members receive the quarterly magazine, Exaggerated Features, which has articles about caricaturing, featured artists tips and stories as well as other useful information about caricature illustration. The ISCA annual conference is held each year in a different location. The conferences features a guest speaker, lectures, seminars, competitions, awards and the camaraderie of peers in the art of caricature drawing.

Wu Junyong is a Chinese artist born in Putian, a city in Fujian province, China. He graduated from The China Academy of Art were he studied in both the Prinmaking and New Media departments. He now lives and works in Hangzhou. His predominant medium is paintings done on paper and animated films, though in recent years he has become infatuated with doing graffiti on the body and impromptu tattoos.

The China Art Museum, also called the China Art Palace or its original name, Shanghai Art Museum, is a museum of modern Chinese art located in Pudong, Shanghai. The museum is housed in the former China Pavilion of Expo 2010. It is one of the largest art museums in Asia.

Xiao returned to China in 2009 and now she lives and works in Beijing and Paris.
