Sir Geoffrey Charles Hurst is an English former professional footballer. A striker, he became the first man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final and be on the winning team, when England recorded a 4–2 victory over West Germany at Wembley Stadium in 1966.
Martin Stanford Peters was an English footballer and manager. As a member of the England team which won the 1966 FIFA World Cup, he scored the second of England's four goals in the final against West Germany. He also played in the 1970 World Cup. Born in Plaistow, Essex, he played club football for West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, Norwich City and Sheffield United. He briefly managed Sheffield United before retiring from professional football in 1981.
Emlyn Walter Hughes was an English footballer. He started his career at Blackpool in 1964 before moving to Liverpool in 1967. He made 665 appearances for Liverpool and captained the side to three league titles and an FA Cup victory in the 1970s. Added to these domestic honours were two European Cups, including Liverpool's first in 1977; and two UEFA Cup titles. Hughes won the Football Writers' Player of the Year in 1977. Hughes completed a full set of English football domestic honours by winning the League Cup with Wolverhampton Wanderers in 1980. In addition to Wolves, he later played for Rotherham United, Hull City, Mansfield Town and Swansea City. Hughes earned 62 caps for the England national team, which he also captained.

Jan Jonas Jakob "Janne" Eriksson is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a defender. Starting off his career with IFK Sundsvall in the mid-1980s, he went on to play professionally in Sweden, Germany, Switzerland, England, and the United States before retiring in 1999. A full international between 1990 and 1994, he won 35 caps for the Sweden national team and participated at the 1990 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1992. He was also selected for the 1994 FIFA World Cup but had to withdraw because of an injury. He was the recipient of the 1992 Guldbollen as Sweden's best footballer of the year.

Jan Börje Möller is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Starting off his career with Malmö FF, he went on to represent also Bristol City, Toronto Blizzard, Helsingborgs IF, and Trelleborgs FF during a career that spanned between 1971 and 1993. A full international between 1979 and 1988, he won 17 caps for the Sweden national team and represented his country at the 1978 FIFA World Cup. In 1979, he was awarded Guldbollen as Sweden's best footballer of the year.
