Babu Antony is an Indian film actor and martial artist, who works primarily in Malayalam cinema. He has also acted in several Tamil films along with a few Telugu, Kannada, Sinhalese, Hindi, Bangala and English films, mostly action roles. Babu owns mixed martial art academy in Houston.

Twenty:20 is a 2008 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film written by Udayakrishna and Siby K. Thomas and directed by Joshiy. The film stars Mohanlal, Mammootty, Suresh Gopi, Jayaram and Dileep and was produced and distributed by actor Dileep through Graand Production and Manjunatha Release. The film was produced on behalf of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as a fundraiser to financially support actors who are struggling in the Malayalam film industry. All the actors in AMMA worked without payment in order to raise funds for their welfare schemes. The film features an ensemble cast, which includes almost all artists in AMMA. The music was composed by Berny-Ignatius and Suresh Peters.

Kushi is a 2000 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by S. J. Surya and produced by A. M. Rathnam. The film featured Vijay and Jyothika in the leading roles, while Mumtaj, Vivek and Vijayakumar play other supporting roles. The film had cinematography by Jeeva, while music was composed by Deva. The film was released in May 2000 and spawned several remakes. In Telugu, the film was released as Kushi, in Hindi as Khushi, and in Kannada as Eno Onthara. Jyothika went on to win the Filmfare Best Actress Award in Tamil for her performance in the film.

Ee Parakkum Thalika is a 2001 Malayalam comedy film starring Dileep, Nithya Das and Harisree Asokan. It was directed by Thaha and written by V. R. Gopalakrishnan. The film was one of the highest grossing Malayalam films of 2001. The film was also the debut film of actress Nithya Das. The story follows bus owner Unnikrishnan (Dileep) and his assistant Sundareshan who live and sleep in their bus.

Rajender, and subsequently garnered popularity appearing in glamorous roles in films including Kushi, Looty and Chocolate.

Escape from Uganda is a 2013 Malayalam thriller film directed by Rajesh Mohanan. The cast includes Rima Kallingal, Vijay Babu, R. Parthiepan, Joju, Tashu Kaushik, Winston Witecker and also Mukesh in a cameo appearance. The story is by Rajesh Nair, screenplay by Sandeep Robinson, Deepak Prabhakaran and Nithin Bhadran and dialogue by Salin Mankuzy. Several plots as well as the general thread of the movie have an uncanny similarity to the Hollywood thriller The Next Three Days. Escape From Uganda started rolling in Uganda from 7 July. It was shot completely in Uganda and was the first Malayalam film to be shot extensively in Africa.
