Janet Murphy (born April 22, 1965) [1] is a Canadian curler. She was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia but resides in Mississauga, Ontario. [2] [3] She is the director of curling at Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. [4] [5]
From 2010–2014, Murphy was the third on Cathy Auld's team. From 2014-2015 she was the third on Clancy Grandy's team.
From 2015–2018 she was third on Jacqueline Harrison's team. In 2015, the team won the Gord Carroll Curling Classic, Oakville Fall Classic and Royal LePage Women's Fall Classic. The following year, the team won the Brantford Nissan Classic. [6]
She coached her daughter Jestyn Murphy who is also a curler. [7] [8] From 2018–2020 they both played on the same team with Janet being third and her daughter being the skip. [9] [10] The team went on to win the Listowel Women's Classic in 2018 and finished as runners-up the following year. [11]
Murphy moved into the Senior ranks in 2022, joining the Jo-Ann Rizzo rink. The team won the Ontario Senior women's championship that year and again in 2024.
Her husband Hugh Murphy was also a curler and died in 2020. [12] They had two children, Jestyn and Hale. [13] Murphy works as the director of curling at the Mississaugua Golf & Country Club. [1]
Krista Lee McCarville is a Canadian curler from Thunder Bay, Ontario. McCarville is a four-time Northern Ontario junior champion, the 2003 Winter Universiade silver medallist, a four-time Ontario provincial champion, a four-time Northern Ontario provincial champion, and a two-time Canadian national medallist.
CurlON is the governing body of curling in Southern Ontario. Northern Ontario is governed by the Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA). The CurlON sends a team to represent Team Ontario at all major Canadian Championships. The NOCA sends a separate team to all of these events.

Rachel Catherine Homan is a Canadian international curler and the reigning women's world champion in 2024. Homan is a former Canadian junior champion, a four-time Canadian national champion, and two-time World Champion, all as a skip. She was also the skip of the Canadian women's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Julie Hastings is a Canadian curler from Stouffville, Ontario.
Tracy Fleury is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season, and now plays third on the team. With Homan, she won the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and later the 2024 World Women's Curling Championship representing Team Canada. In 2021, she led her team to a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. She has competed at the Canadian national championship seven times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007.
Lesley Kaitlyn Lawes is a Canadian curler. Lawes was the long time third for the Jennifer Jones team that represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics where they won the gold medal. They were the first women's team to go through the Olympics undefeated and the first Manitoba based curling team to win at the Olympics. Lawes curled with John Morris in the mixed doubles event at the 2018 Winter Olympics where they won gold. This win made her and Morris the first Canadian curlers to win two Olympic gold medals, and Lawes was the first to win gold in two consecutive Olympics.

It was held January 4–10 at the Port Arthur Curling Club in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The winning Krista McCarville team represented Ontario at the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
The 2011 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts was the 2011 edition of the Ontario provincial women's curling championship. It was held January 24–30 at the Thornhill Golf and Country Club in Thornhill, Ontario. The winning team of Rachel Homan represented Ontario at the 2011 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. The team finished round robin play with a record of 8-3, where they defeated Nova Scotia in the 3-4 page playoff game, but were unsuccessful in the semi-final losing against Saskatchewan, and then losing the Bronze Medal Game to team Nova Scotia.
The 2013 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, women's provincial curling championship, was held January 21–27, 2013 at the Kitchener-Waterloo Granite Club in Waterloo, Ontario. The winning Rachel Homan rink went on to represent Ontario at the 2013 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Kingston, Ontario.
The 2014 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Ontario, was held from January 6 to 12 at the Soo Curlers Association in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The winning team represented Ontario at the 2014 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Montreal.

Yang Tae-i is a South Korean curler from Uijeongbu. She currently plays second on the Chuncheon City Hall curling team, skipped by Ha Seung-youn. While playing with Kim Min-ji, she won a gold medal at the 2018 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships and a silver medal at the 2020 World Junior Curling Championships.

The Part II Bistro Ladies Classic is a bonspiel that is part of the women's Ontario Curling Tour. The event is an annual event held in November and takes place at the Wingham Golf and Curling Club in Wingham, Ontario. Prior to 2018 it was held at the Listowel Curling Club in Listowel, Ontario. The first event was held in 2015, and was sponsored by Libro Credit Union. In its latest season in 2019, it was part of the World Curling Tour.
