Jani Bellefleur-Kaltush is an Innu filmmaker from Nutashkuan, Quebec, Canada. [1] She is most noted as director of Do Not Tell (Ne le dis pas / Nika tshika uiten mishkut), which was the winner of the Best Short Documentary award at the 2010 ImagineNATIVE Film and Media Arts Festival, [2] and co-director with Julien G. Marcotte of Katshinau (Les Mains sales), which won the award for Best Canadian Short Film at the 2023 Vancouver International Film Festival [3] and was named to the Toronto International Film Festival's annual year-end Canada's Top Ten list for 2023. [4]

Bellefleur-Kaltush trained at the Institut national de l'image et du son (INIS) in Quebec. [5] [6]

She has also directed episodes of the children's television series Couleurs du nord, and had an acting role in the television series Les Oubliettes.

His first short film, Louise from 9 to 5 , was released in 2021 and had its premiere at Festival du Nouveau cinéma in 2021 and travelled internationally.

François Dauteuil, born in 1957, is a former Canadian filmmaker and television director. He began his career in the television series La Course autour du monde and later gained wider recognition through his short and medium-length drama movies, which earned him a Best Director Award and Best Soundtrack Award at the Yorkton Film Festival.

Eli Jean Tahchi is a Lebanese Canadian filmmaker based in Montreal, Quebec. He is most noted as a two-time Prix Iris nominee for Best Short Documentary, receiving nods at the 24th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2022 for Sometimes I Wish I Was on a Desert Island , and at the 26th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2024 for Outside Center.
