Pekowski was born in Golub-Dobrzyń. [1] He played for Energetyk Poznań.
Pekowski managed Lech Poznań, Widzew Łódź, Arka Gdynia, [2] Lechia Gdańsk, Degerfors IF, [3] Pogoń Szczecin and Stilon Gorzów. [4]
