Jared Kuemper is a Canadian born producer, songwriter, engineer, and audio mixer.
Canadians are people identified with the country of Canada. This connection may be residential, legal, historical or cultural. For most Canadians, several of these connections exist and are collectively the source of their being Canadian.
A record producer or music producer oversees and manages the sound recording and production of a band or performer's music, which may range from recording one song to recording a lengthy concept album. A producer has many, varying roles during the recording process. For example, a songwriter who excels at writing lyrics might be paired with a songwriter with the task of creating original melodies. Pop songs may be written by group members from the band or by staff writers – songwriters directly employed by music publishers. Some songwriters serve as their own music publishers, while others have outside publishers.

Jann Arden, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress. She is famous for her signature ballads, "Could I Be Your Girl" and "Insensitive", which is her biggest hit to date.
Kuemper has collaborated on several songs that have reached No. 1 or Top 10 status in the Canadian radio charts, including "Fall" by Butterfinger, [2] "Do You Feel" by Butterfinger, and "Take It to the Top" by Jessie Farrell. Other Top 10 songs produced, engineered, or mixed by Jared Kuemper include Aaron Pritchett's "Big Wheel", "Hold My Beer", "Warm Safe Place", and "The Weight", and Jessie Farrell's "Don't Even Try."
Butterfinger was a Saskatchewan-based Canadian alternative/rock band having released an independently recorded studio album.
"The Weight" is an original song by the Canadian-American group the Band that was released as Capitol Records single 2269 in 1968 and on the group's debut album Music from Big Pink. Written by Band member Robbie Robertson, the song is about a visitor's experiences in a town mentioned in the lyric's first line as Nazareth. "The Weight" has significantly influenced American popular music, having been listed as No. 41 on Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time published in 2004. Pitchfork Media named it the 13th best song of the Sixties, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame named it one of the 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll. PBS, which broadcast performances of the song in Ramble at the Ryman (2011), Austin City Limits (2012), and Quick Hits (2012), describes it as "a masterpiece of Biblical allusions, enigmatic lines and iconic characters" and notes its enduring popularity as "an essential part of the American songbook."
