Jarhois is a village on the Torne River in Pajala Municipality, Sweden.

According to 1890 Swedish census, Jarhois had 97 residents [1] also in July 2016, according to the magazine Ratsit, there was only 51 people over the age of 16 living in Jarhois. [2]

Glenn Ljungström is a Swedish co-guitarist from Nödinge-Nol, for a Swedish band called The Resistance, since 2011. He was also an ex-guitarist and composer in a few other Swedish bands. He was most notably in melodic death metal band In Flames from 1993 to 1997, for which he was also an original member. He quit In Flames to support his family with a more stable job. "Diggi-loo diggi-ley", written with lyricist Britt Lindeborg, won the Swedish heats of Melodifestivalen 1984 and later in the same year, won the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 for Sweden.

Esther Katarina Stensson is a Swedish politician and leader of the Swedish Pirate Party with a term from 2019–2021 Stensson took a masters exam in engineering physics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2014 and a degree in licentiate in physics in 2018.
