Jasmine Armfield (born 17 December 1998 [1] ) is an English actress, known for playing Bex Fowler in the BBC soap opera EastEnders from 2014 to 2020.
Armfield was born in Southend, Essex. She attended The King John School in South Benfleet, Essex [2] and became a student at the Wickford's Pauline Quirke Academy for the Performing Arts when it opened in September 2010. [3]
In 2014, Armfield was cast in the BBC soap opera EastEnders as Bex Fowler, making her first appearance on 15 January 2014. [4] Her storylines on EastEnders included her relationship with Shakil Kazemi (Shaheen Jafargholi), being bullied, losing her virginity, dealing with the grief of Shakil being murdered, getting into the University of Oxford and attempting suicide. [5] In 2017, she was nominated for Best Soap Actress at the TV Choice Awards. [6] She departed on 6 March 2020. [7] In May 2021, she appeared in an episode of the BBC soap opera Doctors as Layla Roberts. [8] Then in June 2022, Armfield appeared in an episode of the BBC medical drama series Casualty . [9]

Sarah Manners is an English actress and businessowner, known for her roles as Joanna Helm in the BBC soap opera Doctors, Bex Reynolds in the BBC medical drama Casualty and Kirsty Knight in the ITV procedural drama The Bill. The Beales and the Fowlers are a fictional family in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. They were the main family for storylines in early episodes of EastEnders, and remained as such ever since. With at least one member of the family having been a member of the cast from the first episode in February 1985, they are the show's longest serving family. The original Beale/Fowler family consisted of matriarch Lou Beale and her children Pete and Pauline, alongside their families including their children Ian, Mark, Michelle and their spouses Kathy Hills and Arthur Fowler. Kirsty "Dotty" Cotton is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Molly Conlin from 2008 to 2010 and Milly Zero from 2019 to 2022. She was introduced on 26 December 2008 as the daughter of established character Nick Cotton. Nick uses Dotty as his partner-in-crime; they plan to kill his mother Dot Branning and inherit the money from her will. She and Dot subsequently become close after Dotty sabotages Nick's murder attempt at the last minute. Kush Kazemi is a fictional character from the BBC soap opera EastEnders, played by Davood Ghadami. Ghadami's casting was announced in August 2014 before Kush was introduced by executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins in episode 4945, broadcast on 20 October 2014, as a friend of established character Martin Fowler.
