Jason Calliste (born January 27, 1990) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Moncton Magic of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC).
Calliste is from Toronto and his father Jude runs an appliance-repair business in Ontario. Calliste moved to North Carolina to attend prep school. [1]
Calliste played basketball at Detroit for four years and earned a communications degree. [1] In his last season with the Titans, Calliste averaged 14.4 points, 3.3 assists, and 3.1 rebounds per game. He took advantage of the graduate transfer rule and moved to Oregon for his final season of eligibility. [2] He came off the bench to help the Ducks to an NCAA tournament appearance. [1] Calliste averaged 12.4 points and 2.0 rebounds per game in his only season in Eugene. [3] His best game was a 31-point performance on December 22, 2013, in a 100–96 overtime win over BYU. [4]
Calliste played his first professional season with the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League. In the 2015–16 season he played for BK Barons of Riga. In 2016, he rejoined the Red Claws. [5] Later in the season, he returned to Canada to play for the KW Titans. In September he joined the Spanish team Palencia Baloncesto. [6] In January 2018, Calliste joined the Moncton Magic and averaged 9.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game in 34 games. [7] In the 2018–19 season, Calliste averaged 9.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. He was named to the All-Canadian Third Team. [8] During the 2019–20 season, Calliste averaged 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game, earning All-Canadian First Team honors. [9]

Clifford Clinkscales is an American professional basketball head coach and retired player. He is the head coach of the KW Titans of the Basketball Super League. A 6-foot-1-inch (1.85 m) point guard, Clinkscales began playing professionally in 2008, with two seasons in the NBA Development League. He spent most of his professional career in NBL Canada, playing from 2013 to 2020 in Halifax for the Rainmen and the Hurricanes. With the Halifax Hurricanes, he set the record for the most career assists in NBL Canada history.
Anthony Nathaniel Anderson, also known by his initials as Double A, is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Moncton Magic of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL). Standing 5 ft 11 in (1.80 m), he plays the point guard position. Anderson has played in the NBL Canada with the Riptide and Mill Rats for nearly six seasons. As of February 2016, he is the league's all-time leading scorer and is known as one of its most prominent players. Anderson also played for Saint John and their previous incarnation, the Manchester Millrats, in the Premier Basketball League (PBL) and the American Basketball Association (ABA).
Gordon Cavell Johnson is an American professional basketball coach and former player. At a height of 2.05 m (6'8¾"), he played at the power forward and center positions on the court. Johnson was named an NBL Canada All-Star in 2014, and won its Slam Dunk Contest the same season. He was often considered one of the top defenders in the league, having been named to two All-Defence Teams, and winning the NBL Canada Defensive Player of the Year Award. Johnson played college basketball at James Madison University, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He then started his coaching career with KW Titans after he was appointed head coach in 2018.

The Moncton Magic were a Canadian professional basketball team based in Moncton, New Brunswick, that joined the National Basketball League of Canada for the 2017–18 season, replacing the league-operated Moncton Miracles in the summer of 2017. The Magic were one of two NBL teams in New Brunswick, the other being the Saint John Riptide. The Magic left the NBL in August 2021 and have been inactive since.
