Jason Krause is an American guitar player for Kid Rock's Twisted Brown Trucker Band. He is Kid Rock's lead guitarist. His audition was actually the most important show in Kid Rock's career, his famed 1997 Atlantic Records showcase show at Detroit's State Theater. Krause started out as the groups metalhead, as he had played in two underground metal groups beforehand, Black Anthem and Aftermass, but has devolved his skills on acoustic guitar in recent years, he can also play the drums and piano. Krause plays guitar on all of Kid Rock's songs since 1997. He started out as a carpenter. Krause uses many guitars including Firebirds and Les Pauls. He played in many Detroit area rock/metal bands over the 1980s with bandmates Darren McEwan, and brother Scott Krause.

In a career spanning 30 years, Rock's musical style alternates between rock, hip hop, and country. A multi-instrumentalist, he has overseen his own production on nine of his eleven studio albums.
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the progenitors of the horror punk subgenre, blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. Founded in 1977 in Lodi, New Jersey, by vocalist, songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig, and drummer Manny Martínez. Eventually Jerry Only joined on bass guitar and Danzig and Only were the only consistent members throughout the next six years, during which they released several EPs and singles, and with Only's brother Doyle as guitarist, the albums Walk Among Us (1982) and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood (1983), both considered touchstones of the early-1980s hardcore punk movement. The band has gone through many lineup changes over the years, with bassist Jerry Only being the only constant member in the group.
Southern rock is a subgenre of rock music and a genre of Americana. It developed in the Southern United States from rock and roll, country music, and blues, and is focused generally on electric guitar and vocals. Although the origin of the term Southern rock is unknown, "many people feel that these important contributors to the development of rock and roll have been minimized in rock's history."
Michael Schenker is a German rock guitarist who has played in UFO and led the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of Scorpions, the band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s Michael joined UFO, playing lead guitar. He left the band in 1978 to found the Michael Schenker Group. He has rejoined UFO three times, producing an album each time. Schenker continues to perform and record. He has been called "a legendary figure in the history of metal guitar."

Rich Kids on LSD (RKL) was a Californian hardcore punk band formed in 1982 in Montecito, California, a suburb of Santa Barbara. They were associated with the "Nardcore" scene that evolved out of nearby Oxnard. Their music expanded over the years from West Coast hardcore to a mix of hardcore with rock and metal elements. This style, along with touring, made them very popular on the European scene, especially among skaters in the 1980s and 1990s. Guitarist Chris Rest was the band's only consistent member.
Gilbert J. "Gilby" Clarke is an American musician, singer, songwriter and record producer. He had a 3-year tenure as the rhythm guitarist of Guns N' Roses, replacing Izzy Stradlin in 1991 during the Use Your Illusion Tour. Following this, Clarke went on to forge a solo career as well playing guitar with Slash's Snakepit, Kat Men, Heart, Nancy Sinatra, Kathy Valentine, MC5 and forming his own group Rock Star Supernova with members of Metallica and Mötley Crüe.
The J. Geils Band was an American rock band formed in 1968, in Worcester, Massachusetts, under the leadership of guitarist John "J." Geils. The original band members included vocalist Peter Wolf, harmonica and saxophone player Richard "Magic Dick" Salwitz, drummer Stephen Bladd, vocalist/keyboardist Seth Justman, and bassist Danny Klein. Wolf and Justman served as principal songwriters. The band played R&B-influenced blues rock during the 1970s and soon achieved commercial success before moving towards a more mainstream radio-friendly sound in the early 1980s, which brought the band to its commercial peak. After Wolf left the band in 1983 to pursue a solo career, the band released one more album in 1984 with Justman on lead vocals, before breaking up in 1985. Beginning in 1999, the band had several reunions prior to the death of its namesake, J. Geils, on April 11, 2017.
Devil Without a Cause is the fourth studio album by Kid Rock. Released on August 18, 1998, the album saw Kid Rock continuing to develop his sound, moving away from the predominately hip hop sound of his previous albums to a largely rap metal, hard rock, nu metal, and rap rock sound, and marked the finalization of his stage persona as a redneck pimp. Additionally, the song "Cowboy" is seen as being instrumental in the development of the fusion genre country rap.

Mattias IA Eklundh is a guitarist and vocalist, known for his work with Freak Kitchen, Jonas Hellborg Trio and Art Metal; he has also produced several noted solo Freak Guitar albums released by Steve Vai and Favored Nations, and holds his annual Freak Guitar Camp in the woods of Sweden every summer for dedicated guitar players from all over the world. He was also prominently featured playing his trademark-style solos on the first four Soilwork albums.
Live Trucker is a live album by Kid Rock and Twisted Brown Trucker. Released on February 28, 2006, the album comprises songs from Kid Rock's homestands of Clarkston and Detroit's Cobo Hall. The album contained the last two performances of Joe C. on "Devil Without a Cause" and "Early Mornin' Stoned Pimp" as well as Gretchen Wilson dueting on "Picture". Other highlights included "Only God Knows Why", the medley of "Somebody's Gotta Feel This" and "Fist of Rage," bridged together by Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love".
"It's a Long Way to the Top " is a song by Australian hard rock band AC/DC. It is the first track of the group's second album T.N.T., released only in Australia on 8 December 1975, and was written by Angus Young, Malcolm Young and Bon Scott. The song combines bagpipes with hard rock instrumentation; in the middle section of the song there is a call and response between the bagpipes and guitar. The original recording is in B-flat major, but it was played live in A major.

The KISS Alive/Worldwide 96/97Tour was a 1996–1997 concert tour by American hard rock band Kiss. It was the first tour with original members Peter Criss and Ace Frehley since their 1979 Dynasty Tour. The tour grossed $43.7 million, making it the most successful Kiss tour to date. Average attendance was 14,000.

The M2K Tour was a mini tour by American heavy metal band Metallica. The tour ran from late December 1999 to early January 2000. During the tour, "Trapped Under Ice" was requested to be played when they were in Chicago by a fan. The song was only played two other times: on November 17, 1984 in Belgium, and on November 18, 1984 in Paris. Metallica also played the New Year's Eve show in Pontiac, Michigan at the Silverdome in front of 50,000 people. At the show, Metallica broadcast the Times Square Ball Drop, ushering in the year 2000, and played the classic Kiss track "Detroit Rock City" alongside Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, and Sevendust. The setlists for these tour dates, like their Sick of the Studio '07 tour, consisted of old songs and songs that they have not played in many years.
Rebel Soul is the ninth studio album by American musician Kid Rock and his final to be released with Atlantic Records. The album was released on November 19, 2012. The album was self-produced by Kid Rock himself. It is his first since 2007's Rock N Roll Jesus to feature his backing band Twisted Brown Trucker after being absent on 2010's Born Free. "Redneck Paradise" was written by The Young Brothers in 2007; they sent it to Kid Rock's representatives hoping he would use the song.
