Jason Zandamela (born September 21, 2005) [1] is an American football center for the Florida Gators. He previously played for the USC Trojans.

Early life and high school

Zandamela grew up in Mozambique before moving to the United States in 2020. [2] Coming out of high school, Zandamela was rated as a four star recurit, the 6th best interior offensive lineman, and the 112th overall prospect in the class of 2023. [3] Zandamela also held offers from numerous Power 4 programs. [4] Ultimately, Zandamela decided to commit to play college football for the USC Trojans. [5] [6]

College career

USC

In Zandamela's freshman season in 2023, he did not appear in any games after enrolling early. [7] After the conclusion of the 2023 season, Zandamela decided to enter his name into the NCAA transfer portal. [8] [9]

Florida

Zandamela decided to transfer to play for the Florida Gators. [10] [11]
