Indian Prairie School District 204 serves roughly 27,400 students from the Illinois communities of Aurora, Bolingbrook, Plainfield and Naperville, in DuPage and Will counties. Currently, one preschool, twenty-one elementary schools, seven middle schools, four high schools, and one alternative high school are in the district. There are thirty-one District 204 schools in Naperville and Aurora and one in Bolingbrook.

Bond County Community Unit School District 2 is a unified school district based in Greenville, a city located in central Bond County, Illinois that serves as its county seat. Today, the district is composed of five schools; Greenville Elementary School, a NASA Explorer school that serves grades Pre-K through 5; Pocahontas Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-K through 8; Sorento Elementary School, which serves grades K-8; Greenville Junior High School, a school that means to bridge Greenville Elementary and Greenville High by serving grades 6-8; and lastly, Greenville High School, of which all the schools ultimately feed into, serving grades 9-12. The resulting school district includes Richland County as well as small parts of Clay, Jasper, Lawrence, and Wayne counties.

The Cumberland Community Unit School District 77 is a unified school district in Cumberland County, Illinois. It is located in the countryside between the villages of Toledo and Greenup. The school district draws students from the towns of Toledo, Greenup, and Jewett. It is composed of three schools: one elementary school, one junior high school, and one high school, and altogether, as of the 2021–22 school year, accommodates 1,006 students. Students just entering the district first attend the Cumberland Elementary School, which serves them from kindergarten to grade five. The school also runs a pre-kindergarten program. Those in grades six to eight attend the Cumberland Junior High School. The graduates spend their last years in the district at the Cumberland High School, from grade nine to grade twelve. Neoga Community Unit School District 3 is a unified school district located in the central Illinois city of Neoga, for which the district is named. Neoga, in turn, is a city located in northwestern Cumberland County. The district is composed of two schools: one elementary school and one junior-senior high school compose the unified district. Education begins at Neoga Elementary School, where children in grades ranging from kindergarten to five are educated; the school also runs a prekindergarten program. The last branch of precollegiate education in the district takes place at the combined Neoga Junior/Senior High School, and students in grades six through twelve are taught in this facility. Oakland Community Unit School District 5 is composed of two schools; one school is a combined elementary and junior high school, and the other is a senior high school; students in kindergarten and grades one though eight attend Lake Crest Elementary School, which is under the direction of principal Jim Eastin. Arcola Community Unit School District 306 is a unified school district based in a southern Douglas County settlement named Arcola, Illinois. The district is composed of an elementary school and a consolidated junior senior high school. The junior senior high school, although consolidated, is still regarded as two different schools. Students enter the district as prekindergarteners or kindergarteners in Arcola Elementary School, which educates the students until sixth grade under supervision of principal Angie Gentry. Graduates of the elementary school move on to Arcola Junior High School, and will remain there until seventh grade; afterwards, students complete their precollegiate education at Arcola High School. Principal Lisa Sigrist directs both schools; The mascot of both schools, is the Purple Rider. The district superintendent is Tom Mulligan; he broadcasts monthly podcasts to his district.
Skokie/Morton Grove School District 69 is an elementary school district based in the northern Cook County village for which the district is named: Skokie, Illinois, United States. The district is composed of two elementary schools and one junior high school; one of the two elementary schools is home to a preschool program, while the other elementary school is the only school in the district not located in the village of Skokie. The campus is 33 miles (53 km) northwest of Peoria, Illinois and serves a mixed village and rural residential community. V.I.T. High School, or VHS, is a public four-year high school located at 1500 U.S. Hwy. 136 East near Table Grove, Illinois, a village in Fulton County, Illinois, in the Midwestern United States. VHS is part of V.I.T. Community Unit School District 2, which serves the communities of Vermont, Ipava, and Table Grove (V.I.T), and includes V.I.T. Junior High School, and V.I.T. Elementary School. The campus is located 30 miles southwest of Canton, IL, and serves a mixed village and rural residential community. The school lies within the Canton micropolitan statistical area.
Orangeville High School, now referred to as Orangeville CUSD, is a public School four year high school that also hosts the Junior High and the elementary school level grades for the entire school district. The building is located at 201 S. Orange St in Orangeville, Illinois, a village in Stephenson County, Illinois. The school serves students residing in the communities of Orangeville, Red Oak, Oneco, Afolkey, Buena Vista, Damascus, Buckhorn Corners, and surrounding area. In 2019, the city’s elementary school was transferred to this building to include all grades within the same complex. The building itself was built to its current state in 1948 after the original building was destroyed by a fire.
