Javontee Herndon (born June 29, 1991) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Arkansas.
Herndon played at Jacksonville Bolles from 2008-2011. He was a part of the back to back state championship teams.
Herndon attended the University of Arkansas from 2010-2013. In 2012, he appeared in every game and finished the season with 21 receptions, 304 yards and two touchdowns. [1]
Herndon was signed by the San Diego Chargers after going undrafted in the 2014 NFL draft. On November 3, 2015, he was added to the active roster after Keenan Allen suffered a kidney injury. [2] On August 30, 2016, he was placed on injured reserve. [3]
On July 28, 2017, Herndon signed with the Dallas Cowboys. [4] He was waived on August 15, 2017. [5]
In 2018, Herndon signed with the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football for the 2019 season. [6] However, he turned down the opportunity at the start of their training camp. [7]

Lance Dwight Alworth, nicknamed "Bambi", is an American former football wide receiver who played for the San Diego Chargers of the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL) and Dallas Cowboys of the NFL. Often considered one of the greatest wide receivers of all time, he played for 11 seasons, from 1962 through 1972, and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1978. He was the first player inducted whose playing career was principally in the AFL. Alworth is also a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. His teammates called him Bambi because he had a baby face and could run like a deer.
La'Roi Damon Glover is an American former football defensive tackle who is the defensive line coach for the St. Louis BattleHawks of the United Football League (UFL). He played college football for the San Diego State Aztecs. Glover enjoyed a 13-year career in which he made six-consecutive Pro Bowls and was a four-time All-Pro selection. He spent five seasons with the New Orleans Saints (1997-2001), four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys (2002–2005) and finished his playing career with the St. Louis Rams (2006–2008).

Eric Steven Weddle is an American former football safety who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He played college football for the Utah Utes, where he earned consensus All-American honors in 2006, and was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2007 NFL draft. During his nine seasons with the Chargers, Weddle received three Pro Bowl and two first-team All-Pro selections. Weddle spent his next three seasons as a member of the Baltimore Ravens, earning Pro Bowl honors in each and extending his total selections to six. He retired after playing for the Los Angeles Rams in 2019, but returned two years later to join the Rams on their playoff run, which culminated with a victory in Super Bowl LVI. Following the championship, he retired a second time.
