Jayaprakash Narayan Nagara, popularly known as J. P. Nagar, is one of the residential layouts in Mysore that is very adjacent to the outer ring road. J.P. Nagar was originally meant to be an industrial layout. But recently it has become an important residential area with many shops and establishments catering to the residents.
The J.P.Nagar Library near to police booth has an extensive collection of English and Kannada books. It has got a very spacious reading space with special facilities for the child reader. There is a yoga center on the first floor of the library. A special niche park called Sri Puttaraj Gawai Stadium is attached to the library and there is a 500-meter walking track, a tennis court and an open-air auditorium adjacent to the library. There are facilities for playing cricket, handball, basketball, table tennis,Tennis -clay and football. The swimming pool was built by Build-Operate-Transfer scheme and it has a short course of eight lines. There is another indoor pool of three lines. A gymnasium and a skating ring are also included in the facility.
The stadium also has two speciality parks on either side of the library building. One is a children's park with all playing facilities. Another is a niche park for couples and philosophers with a lot of privacy included.

Jayaprakash Narayan, popularly referred to as JP or Lok Nayak, was an Indian independence activist, theorist, socialist and political leader. He is remembered for leading the mid-1970s opposition against Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, for whose overthrow he had called for a "total revolution". His biography, Jayaprakash, was written by his nationalist friend and the writer of Hindi literature, Rambriksh Benipuri. In 1999, he was posthumously awarded the Bharat Ratna, India's highest civilian award, in recognition of his social service. Other awards include the Magsaysay award for Public Service in 1965.
Thyagaraya Nagar, commonly known as T. Nagar, and historically known as East Mambalam, is a very affluent commercial and residential neighbourhood in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is surrounded by Nungambakkam in the North, Teynampet in the East, Nandanam in the South-East, C.I.T. Nagar in the South and West Mambalam and Kodambakkam in the West. The stretch between Duraiswamy Road and T. Nagar Bus Stand has some of the costliest real estates in Chennai. It was constructed between 1923 and 1925 by the Madras Presidency government of the Raja of Panagal as a part of town planning activities initiated according to the Madras Town Planning Act of 1920. The town was named after P. Thyagaraya Chetty. The streets, parks and localities in the new neighbourhood were named after important officials in the provincial government.
Basaveshwaranagara is a largely residential neighbourhood in the west of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Jangpura is a neighbourhood in South East Delhi district of Delhi. Beginning from the east and moving clockwise, it is bordered by the Mathura Road, Ring Railway line, Silver Oak Park beyond the Defence Colony Flyover, and the Barapulla Nullah. Lavelle Road is an upmarket residential and commercial street in the city of Bangalore, Karnataka in India. It is an important connection between Mahatma Gandhi Square and Richmond Circle. Thindlu, once an ancient village, is now a part of the Bangalore North. Thindlu is famous for its ancient temple of lord Virabhadra and is currently a thriving community with many real estate constructions. Thindlu comes under Vidyaranyapura ward of Byatarayanapura constituency. Byatarayanapura is one of the largest constituency of Bangalore. Many residential layouts have recently come up. Thindlu is located to the east of Vidyaranyapura and to the west of Sahakara Nagar. Once a rural village, it has now become very well integrated to Bengaluru city style. With many new residential apartments and with the influx of people this area does not resemble anymore like an rural village, although some areas still retain Village type old houses. Although declining, Animal husbandry can still be witnessed here like any other part of Bangalore Rural district.
