Jayce Brown (born April 30, 2005) is an American football wide receiver for the Kansas State Wildcats.
Brown attended Choctawhatchee High School in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. He was rated as a three-star recruit and held offers from schools such as Tulane, Georgia State, Kansas State, Middle Tennessee, Air Force, and Army. [1] [2] Ultimately, Brown committed to play college football for the Kansas State Wildcats. [1]
In week eight of the 2023 season, Brown hauled in four receptions for 88 yards and his first career touchdown, in a 41-3 win over the TCU Horned Frogs. [3] He made his first start in the 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl, where me made five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown in a win over NC State. [4] During the 2023 season, Brown appeared in ten games with six starts, where he hauled in 27 receptions for 437 yards and three touchdowns. [5] In week seven of the 2024 season, he notched six receptions for 121 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Colorado. [6]
The Wichita Aviators were a professional indoor football team that played in the American Professional Football League (APFL). The Aviators played their home games in Britt Brown Arena at the Kansas Coliseum during the team's first season (2005). In 2006, the Aviators played their home games at the Wichita Ice Center in Wichita, Kansas. The Wichita Aviators and Kansas Koyotes were both owned by APFL founder Ralph Adams. Carl Caldwell was the head coach of the Aviators, and Mike McCoy was the General Manager.
Bryce Lee Brown is an American former professional football running back who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills, and Seattle Seahawks. He attended the University of Tennessee his freshman year of college, but decided to transfer to Kansas State after head coach Lane Kiffin left the program for USC. Later that year, Volunteers coach Derek Dooley declined to release Brown from his scholarship, resulting in Brown sitting out the 2010 season at Kansas State due to NCAA transfer rules. Brown left the Kansas State football team early in the 2011 season to enter the 2012 NFL draft. In April 2012, Brown was selected in the seventh round by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Collin Klein is an American college football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Texas A&M Aggies. Klein played as a wide receiver for Kansas State during the 2009 season, and made his first career start at quarterback in a win against the Texas Longhorns during the 2010 season. Klein finished his college career ranked 15th all-time in career NCAA rushing touchdowns.
Tyler Deron Lockett is an American professional football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Seahawks in the third round of the 2015 NFL draft. He played college football for the Kansas State Wildcats. In college, he set numerous Kansas State football records and was both a 2011 All-American and 2014 College Football All-America Team consensus All-American selection. In college, he totaled 6,586 career all-purpose yards and 35 touchdowns, including 3,710 yards and 29 touchdowns as a receiver.
