Jeff Nixon (born October 16, 1974) is a former American football player. He currently is the offensive coordinator and running backs coach for the Syracuse Orange.
He played college football at West Virginia from 1993 to 1994 before transferring to Penn State, where he earned Dean's List and Big Ten Conference All-Academic Team recognition. Nixon earned a degree in elementary education from Penn State in 1998 before receiving his master's degree in education administration from Shippensburg in 2003.
Nixon began his coaching career in 1997 as a student assistant coach at Penn State. He was running backs coach at Princeton in 1998. Nixon served as running backs coach at Shippensburg from 1999 to 2002 under Rocky Rees. [1] From 2003 to 2005, he coached at Tennessee-Chattanooga, where he worked with the running backs, tight ends and as a special teams coordinator and recruiting coordinator. Nixon served as the running backs coach at Temple University in 2006. [2] He was promoted to coach wide receivers after the season. Nixon also spent the four seasons 2007–2010 with the Philadelphia Eagles coaching staff where he was an assistant coach working with the special teams as well as the offense, with a focus on the running back position. Nixon was hired by the Miami Dolphins after being named running backs coach in 2011, [3] coaching for them until 2015.
In 2016, he was hired by the San Francisco 49ers to coach the tight ends position. [4]
In 2017, Nixon became the co-offensive coordinator/play-caller and running backs coach for the Baylor Bears [5] under Matt Rhule for the next three years. In the 2018 season, Baylor averaged 460 yards of total offense (including 290 yards passing per game), ranking in the Top 20, in the country, in both total offense and total passing. In the 2019 season, the Nixon led offense averaged 36 points per game (17th in the country) and helped guide Baylor to a Top 10 rank and a Sugar Bowl berth playing against the Georgia Bulldogs.
In 2020, Nixon joined the Carolina Panthers as the team's running backs coach / senior offensive assistant under Rhule. [6] Nixon became the offensive coordinator for the Panthers after Joe Brady was fired on December 5, 2021. [7] In 2022 he became the assistant head coach for the offense for the Panthers. He was not retained by the Panthers for the 2023 season.
On February 24, 2023, the New York Giants hired Nixon as their running backs coach. [8]
In December 2023, Nixon joined Syracuse as offensive coordinator under new head coach Fran Brown for the 2024 season. [9] [10]
Paul Lucian Pasqualoni is an American football coach for the Memphis Showboats of the United Football League (UFL). He most recently was the defensive line coach for the Carolina Panthers.

He was head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in 2018 and previously served as defensive backs coach of the Chicago Bears and San Diego Chargers and defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns and Missouri. He played college football at Appalachian State.
Benjamin Lee McAdoo is an American football coach, currently serving as a senior offensive assistant of the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL). McAdoo was most notably the head coach of the New York Giants from 2016 to 2017, after serving as their offensive coordinator the previous two years under former head coach Tom Coughlin. He was fired from that position on December 4, 2017 following a 2–10 start, along with benching longtime starting quarterback Eli Manning. At the time of his termination, his 28 regular season games were the fewest by a Giants coach since 1930. Prior to working for the Patriots, McAdoo had also served as an assistant coach for several college football teams, as well as for the New Orleans Saints, the San Francisco 49ers, Green Bay Packers, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Carolina Panthers.
Edward Charles Foley Jr. is an American football coach and former player. He was the assistant special teams coach for the Carolina Panthers from 2020 until mid-2022, working under head coach Matt Rhule, who he had previously worked with at Temple University. Prior to coaching the Panthers, Foley primarily coached college football, including head coach positions at Fordham University and Temple University.

Matthew Kenneth Rhule is an American college football coach and former linebacker. He is the head football coach for the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, a position he has held since 2023. He was also the head football coach for Temple University from 2013 to 2016, Baylor University from 2017 to 2019, and the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). Rhule played linebacker at Penn State from 1994 to 1997.

Marcus David Satterfield is an American football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. Satterfield served as the head football coach at Tennessee Tech University from 2016 to 2017. He was the offensive coordinator at the University of Tennessee at Martin (2006–2008), the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (2009–2012), and Temple University (2013–2014). He was an assistant coach at Richmond during the 2004 season and Western Carolina in 2005. Satterfield played college football at East Tennessee State University.
