Jeffrey D. Sharples (born July 28, 1967) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman who played 105 games in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Detroit Red Wings. He was a second round selection of the Red Wings, 29th overall, at the 1985 NHL Entry Draft and made his NHL debut late in the 1986–87 NHL season. Sharples was born in Terrace, British Columbia.

Sharples spent the majority of two seasons with the Red Wings until he was traded to the Edmonton Oilers on November 2, 1989. He never appeared in a regular-season game with Edmonton; his only action with the team was in an exhibition game against the Soviet club team, Khimik Voskresensk. Sharples spent most of the 1989–90 AHL season with the Cape Breton Oilers before he was again traded, this time to the New Jersey Devils on March 6, 1990. Sharples played ten more seasons in the minor leagues but never played in the NHL again. He retired in 2000. [1]

Known for his speed and scoring prowess, Coffey ranks second all-time among NHL defencemen in goals, assists, and points, behind only Ray Bourque. He won the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL's best defenceman three times and was voted to eight end-of-season All-Star teams. He holds the record for the most goals by a defenceman in one season, 48 in 1985–86, and is the only defenceman to have scored 40 goals more than once, also doing it in 1983–84. He is also one of only two defencemen to score 100 points in a season more than one time, as he did it five times; Bobby Orr did it six times. Coffey holds or shares 33 NHL records in the regular season and playoffs.

James Charles Carson is an American former professional hockey player. He played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League with five different teams. In 1988, he became only the second teenager in NHL history to score 50 goals in a season; the first was Wayne Gretzky.

Petr Klíma was a Czech professional ice hockey forward. He played in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings, Edmonton Oilers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Los Angeles Kings, and the Pittsburgh Penguins between 1985 and 1999. Internationally Klíma played for the Czechoslovakian national team at the 1983, winning silver, and 1984 World Junior Championships, winning bronze, and the 1991 Canada Cup.

Stanley Brian Weir is a Canadian former ice hockey centre. Christopher J. Cichocki is an American retired ice hockey right winger. He played 68 games in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings and New Jersey Devils between 1985 and 1988. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1985 to 1998, was mainly spent in the minor leagues. After his playing career Cichocki was a coach in the ECHL. Since 2009 has been a scout for the Edmonton Oilers.
