Jeffrey is a 2016 Dominican Republic documentary film about a young man's struggle to become a professional reggaeton singer, directed by Yanillys Perez. [1] It was screened in the Discovery section at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival. [2]

Jeffrey Duncan Jones is an American character actor, best known for his roles as Emperor Joseph II in Amadeus (1984), Edward R. Rooney in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986), Charles Deetz in Beetlejuice (1988), Dr. Skip Tyler in The Hunt for Red October (1990), Eddie Barzoon in The Devil's Advocate (1997), and A. W. Merrick in both Deadwood (2004–2006) and Deadwood: The Movie (2019). His career started in Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and advanced to London and Broadway. Jeffrey Katzenberg is an American film producer and media proprietor. He became well known for his tenure as chairman of Walt Disney Studios from 1984 to 1994. After departing Disney, he was a co-founder and CEO of DreamWorks Animation, where he oversaw the production of such animated franchises as Shrek, Madagascar, Kung Fu Panda, and How to Train Your Dragon. It was selected as the Dominican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 90th Academy Awards, but it was not nominated. In 2017, Cabral won the Havana Star Prize for Best Director for the film at the 18th Havana Film Festival New York.

Quibi Former American short-form mobile video platform

Quibi was a short-lived American short-form streaming platform that generated content for viewing on mobile devices. It was founded in Los Angeles in August 2018 as NewTV by Jeffrey Katzenberg and was led by Meg Whitman, its CEO. The service raised $1.75 billion from investors. It launched in April 2020, but shut down in December 2020 after falling short of its subscriber projections. In January 2021, Quibi's content library was sold to Roku, Inc. for less than $100 million.
