Jenelle Kohanchuk (born October 3, 1990) was an ice hockey forward for the Boston University Terriers women's ice hockey program. She would compete for the Toronto Furies squad that captured the 2014 Clarkson Cup.
Kohanchuk participated in the 2006 Mac’s Midget Tournament with Balmoral Hall. The following year, she competed in the tournament with Notre Dame. She won a bronze medal with Manitoba at the 2007 National Women’s Under-18 Championship. In the same year, she was part of the Female Midget AAA Hockey League championship with the Notre Dame Hounds. With Notre Dame, she was part of the gold medal victory at the 2007 Western Shield, where she was named top forward and MVP. At the 2007 Canada Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon, Kohanchuk won a silver medal with Team Manitoba. In 2007-08, Kohanchuk ranked second in scoring with the Balmoral Hall Blazers. In 2008, she won a gold medal at the Balmoral Hall tournament in 2008
In 2008, she joined the Boston Terriers women’s ice hockey program. She was named to the Hockey East all-rookie team and was named top rookie at the Hockey East championship in 2008-09. In the same season, she led the Terriers in scoring and was the co-leader among all Hockey East freshmen. The following season, she finished fifth on the Terriers scoring list in 2009-10, leading all sophomores. She was part of the Terriers squad that won its first-ever Hockey East championship in 2010. In addition, she participated with the Hockey East All-Stars in a game against the United States’ Women’s National Team on Nov. 22, 2009. She was in the Frozen Four in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
Kohanchuk’s first experience with Hockey Canada came when she attended Canada’s National Women’s Under-22 Team selection camp in Toronto, Ont., in August 2008. On two separate occasions, she was a member of Canada’s National Women’s Under-22 Team for a three-game series vs. the United States. The first series occurred in Calgary, Alberta in August 2009 while the second was in Toronto, Ontario in August 2010. In addition, Kohanchuk won three gold medal's with Canada’s National Women’s Under-22 Team at the 2010, 2011, and 2012 MLP Cup in Ravensburg, Germany. She scored one of the six goals in the gold medal game of the 2011 MLP Cup. Kohanchuk was Centralized for the 2013/2014 Sochi Roster, but was one of the six players released from the final roster. In that year she won Gold with the National team at the 2013 Four Nations Cup, capturing 2 Goals and an assist in the Gold Medal game. The following year in Kamploops, she won another Gold at the Four Nations Cup, defeating Team USA in a shoot-out. [1]

The Finnish women's national ice hockey team represents Finland at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) World Women's Championships, the Olympic Games, the Four Nations Cup, and other international-level women's ice hockey competitions. The women's national team is overseen by the Finnish Ice Hockey Association. Finland's national women's program is ranked third in the world by the IIHF and has 5,858 active players as of 2019.
The Notre Dame Hounds are a junior "A" ice hockey team based in Wilcox, Saskatchewan, Canada. They are members of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL). The Hounds also had a junior "B" team that played in the South Saskatchewan Junior B Hockey League, but the team folded after the 2005–06 Season. The team plays its homes games in Duncan McNeill Arena, which has a seating capacity of 1,200. The team colours are red and white.
The Telus Cup is Canada's national under-18 ice hockey club championship. It is an annual event, held by Hockey Canada each April. From 1979 to 2003, the national championship was sponsored by Air Canada.
Catherine Ward is a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team. She was also a member of the 2008–09 McGill Martlets women's hockey season, which won a Canadian Interuniversity Sport title. She was drafted 7th overall by the Montreal Stars in the 2011 CWHL Draft.
Marie-Philip Poulin-Nadeau is a Canadian ice hockey forward, playing for Les Canadiennes de Montreal. Poulin was a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey teams that won the gold medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver and 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, and had previously played for the team Dawson College Blues. She has been referred to as the Sidney Crosby of women's hockey for her high level of achievement at a young age. She has the unique distinction of having scored the game-winning goal in the gold medal games in the first two Olympics in which she competed. She also scored the second goal to give the Canadians the lead in the 2018 Winter Olympics gold medal game until Monique Lamoureux tied the game with 6:21 remaining.
Rebecca Anne Johnston is a Canadian ice hockey player for Calgary Inferno and a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team. She played four seasons at Cornell University and was selected second overall in the 2012 CWHL Draft.
Vicki Bendus is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who last played for the Brampton Thunder of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL). While playing collegiate hockey with the Mercyhurst Lakers, she was the winner of the 2010 Patty Kazmaier Award, awarded to the top player in women's NCAA hockey. She was also selected for the Canadian national women's team that will compete in the 2010 Four Nations Cup. Bendus was the leading scorer at the 2011 MLP Cup.
Jennifer Dorothy June Wakefield is a Canadian ice hockey player and a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team. She was a substitute for the women's team that participated in 2010 Winter Olympics and played on the gold-medal winning team at the 2014 Winter Olympics, and the silver-medal winning team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
The Boston University Terriers women's hockey team will represent Boston University in the 2010–11 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Terriers are coached by Brian Durocher and they were the first team in Hockey East to qualify for the NCAA Frozen Four championship game. In addition, Catherine Ward became the first Terriers player to be recognized as an All-American selection. Ward also set a program single-season record for most assists in one season with 27.
The 2010–11 women's national hockey team will represent Canada in various tournaments during the season. The team will attempt to win the gold medal at the Women's World Championships. The head coach is former National Hockey League player Ryan Walter.
Tara Leigh-Anne Watchorn is a Canadian women's ice hockey player who has competed for the Canadian national women's ice hockey team. She made her debut for Team Canada in the 2010 Four Nations Cup and played for Canada most recently at the 2014 Winter Olympics. She chose to withdraw from playing in the 2018 Olympics, however a future comeback is still possible. Watchorn was born in Ajax, Ontario, but grew up in Newcastle, Ontario.
Catherine White is a Canadian ice hockey player. White has competed for Hockey Canada in numerous international tournaments. Currently, she is a member of the Cornell Big Red. Of note, she scored the first goal in the history of the Canadian National Women's Under 18 program.
Lauriane Rougeau is a Canadian ice hockey player in her second stint with the CWHL's Les Canadiennes de Montreal. A former All-America selection for the Cornell Big Red women's ice hockey program, Rougeau was part of the Stars team that captured the inaugural Clarkson Cup in 2009. Competing in Ice hockey at the 2014 Winter Olympics, she was part of Canada's gold medal triumph. Having also earned a gold medal at the 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship, she is among a rare group of Canadian female hockey players that have won the Clarkson Cup, IIHF World Gold and Winter Games gold.
Ann-Sophie Bettez is a Canadian ice hockey forward currently playing for Les Canadiennes de Montréal in the Canadian Women's Hockey League.
Mallory Deluce is a Canadian ice hockey forward for the Wisconsin Badgers women's ice hockey program. She was drafted 11th overall by Toronto CWHL in the 2011 CWHL Draft. She was named to the Canadian National Women's Hockey team roster that competed in the 2011 IIHF Eight Nations Tournament. In 2015, she was named the recipient of the Isobel Gathorne-Hardy Award.
Geneviève Lacasse is a Canadian ice hockey goaltender currently playing for the Les Canadiennes de Montréal in the Canadian Women's Hockey League. She is also a member of the Canada women's national ice hockey team with whom she has won gold medals at both the Olympic Games and IIHF World Championships. In the Canadian Women's Hockey League, she is a two-time Clarkson Cup winner. Lacasse was born in Montreal, Quebec.
Laura Michele Fortino is a Canadian ice hockey player for Markham Thunder. On October 3, 2011, she was named to the Team Canada roster that participated in the 2011 4 Nations Cup. Of note, she was the first overall selection in the 2014 CWHL Draft.
Jillian Saulnier is a Canadian ice hockey player for Les Canadiennes de Montréal and was part of Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team that won gold at the 2010 IIHF World Women's Under-18 Championship in Chicago. As a member of the gold medal winning squad, a hockey card of her was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series. In addition, she participated in the Canada Celebrates Event on June 30 in Edmonton, Alberta which recognized the Canadian Olympic and World hockey champions from the 2009–10 season. She made her debut with the Canada women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.
Bailey Bram is a Canadian ice hockey player. She was named to the Canada women's national ice hockey team season which represented Canada at the 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship. Prior to the national team, Bram competed for the Mercyhurst Lakers women's ice hockey program and the Balmoral Hall Blazers.
Daniella "Ella" Matteucci is a professional hockey player with Markham Thunder of the CWHL, and a former competitor with the Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program. She is a member of the Canada women's national baseball team which won a silver medal at the 2015 Pan American Games.
