Jennifer Francis (born 18 December 1983) is a Malaysian woman cricketer. [1] She was a member of the Malaysian cricket team at the 2010 Asian Games and 2014 Asian Games. [2]

2018 IIHF U20 Challenge Cup of Asia

The 2018 IIHF U20 Challenge Cup of Asia was an international men's under-20 ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. The tournament took place between 12 and 17 December 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was the fourth edition held since its formation in 2012 under the IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia series of tournaments. To be eligible as a "junior", a player cannot be born earlier than 1998. Malaysia won the tournament after winning all five of their round-robin games and finishing first in the standings. Kyrgyzstan finished in second place and the United Arab Emirates finished third.

He was part of the Malaysian 2015 and 2016 BWF World Junior Championships team, and has help Malaysia to clinched a silver medal in mixed team before defeated by China in 2016. He is the son of former Malaysian badminton player Soh Goon Chup. His uncle is known as Soo Beng Kiang, who partnered with Cheah Soon Kit to help Malaysia win the 1992 Thomas Cup. Soh and his partner Aaron Chia were the All England Open finalist and the Southeast Asian Games gold medalist in 2019.

The Asia Pacific Masters Games is a regional multi-sport event which involves participants from the Asia-Pacific region. Governed by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA), the Asia Pacific Masters Games is open to participants of all abilities and most ages – the minimum age criterion ranges between 25 and 35 years depending on the sport. Participants compete for themselves, instead of their countries. There are no competition qualification requirements apart from the age requirement and membership in that sport's governing body.

Malaysia at the 2018 Asian Games

Malaysia participated in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia from 18 August to 2 September 2018. At the last edition in Incheon, the country placed 14 in the medals tally, with 5 gold medals from squash, sailing, and karate. In 2018 edition, Malaysia was represented by 447 athletes and 140 officials at the Games.
