He hosts the 1Xtra Rave Show, where he showcases a range of Black dance music genres, including Afro house, amapiano, and jungle. Jeremiah Asiamah was born on November 24, 1997, and is of Ghanaian heritage. He grew up in South London, where he developed an early interest in music and radio.

Career

Asiamah began his career at Brixton's Reprezent Radio, where he gained experience and became well known for his engaging radio presence. In 2020, he made a permanent transition to BBC Radio 1Xtra, where he was appointed host of the 1Xtra Rave Show. This weekly show, which airs on Friday evenings, focuses on Black dance music culture, including genres such as jungle, drum & bass, and Afro beats.
