Club career

In 2003, Bonomo was signed from the Cape Cod Crusaders of the USL PDL League and made ten appearances for the team. [8] [9] Bonomo also played for Western Mass Pioneers in 2005. [10]

Style of coaching

Bonomo’s philosophy is built on a solid defensive foundation. [11] Bonomo values discipline and physical fitness.

Tactically, Bonomo deploys a 4–2–3–1 with two holding midfielders and attacking full-backs. The full-backs play a crucial role in both defense and attack and the two holding midfielders provide support to the attacking players.

His team sits compact and forces the opposition into making mistakes. Bonomo's team uses direct possession apporoach, bypassing the midfield to the forward and using a low number of passes to a goal.
