Jess Racklyeft is an Australian illustrator and author of children's picture books, and creator of artistic works including paintings, prints and stationery. Racklyeft previously worked in publishing before becoming a full-time illustrator. [1]

The Golden Kite Awards are given annually by the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, an international children's writing organization, to recognize excellence in children’s literature.
