Jesse Thielke (born June 9, 1992) [1] is an American Greco-Roman wrestler who competed at the 2016 Olympics. [1]
In high school Thielke was a four-time state champion for Germantown High School in Germantown, Wisconsin. [2] He finished with a record of 186-1, including a victory over eventual Dan Hodge Trophy winner Alex Dieringer. [3]
He wrestled two seasons for the Wisconsin Badgers before taking an Olympic redshirt in the 2015–16 season. [4]
He won the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials, defeating Spenser Mango in the semifinals and Ildar Hafizov in the finals. [2] [5]
Thielke qualified for the 2016 Olympics by finishing second and in the last qualifying spot at the 2016 World Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament 2. To qualify he came from behind in the quarterfinals and semifinals. [6]
At the 2016 Olympics, Theilke defeated Mehdi Messaoudi of Morocco in the Round of 16, defeating Messaoudi 8-0. Thielke would then face Rovshan Bayramov, losing 8-0 to the former world champion and two-time Olympic silver medalist.

David Morris Taylor III is an American freestyle and graduated folkstyle wrestler who currently competes at 86 kilograms. In 2021, Taylor became the 2020 Olympic gold medalist after defeating reigning Olympic and World Champion Hassan Yazdani, a feat he repeated from the 2018 World Championship where he stormed his way to the title. He later became the 2021 World Championship runner-up, after being defeated by Yazdani. Then, at the 2022 World Championships, he avenged that loss by defeating Yazdani once again to reclaim his world title.
J'den Michael Tbory Cox is an American freestyle wrestler and graduated folkstyle wrestler who competes at 92 kilograms. In freestyle, Cox is a two-time World Champion at 92 kilos, and while competing at 86 kilos, he claimed a bronze medal from the 2016 Summer Olympics and a 2017 World Championship bronze medal. During college, Cox wrestled for the Missouri Tigers, and was a three-time NCAA Division I national champion and four-time Mid-American Conference champion, becoming one of the most accomplished Tigers in the program's history.

In freestyle, Gilman is a 2020 Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist and the 2021 World Champion and Pan American Continental champion. In folkstyle, Gilman was a three-time NCAA Division I All-American, the 2016 NCAA national runner-up, and a Big Ten Conference champion out of the University of Iowa.
Spencer Richard Lee (born October 14, 1998) is an American freestyle and former folkstyle wrestler who competes at 57 kilograms. In freestyle, he won the US National championship in 2019 and was a three-time age-group world champion, once at the cadet level and twice at the junior level. As a folkstyle wrestler, Lee won the James E. Sullivan Award and the Dan Hodge Trophy twice, as well as three NCAA Division I national championships out of the University of Iowa. Lee was often considered one of the most dominant athletes in college athletics.
The 1976–77 Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey team represented the University of Wisconsin–Madison in college ice hockey. In its tenth year under head coach Bob Johnson, the team compiled a 37–7–1 record and outscored all opponents 264 to 161. The Badgers received the WCHA's automatic bid to the 1977 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament by winning the 1977 WCHA Men's Ice Hockey Tournament, the only singular WCHA tournament champion over a 16-year period. They defeated the New Hampshire Wildcats in the Frozen Four semifinals and then beat WCHA- and Big Ten-rival Michigan Wolverines by a 6–5 score in overtime to win the national championship in Detroit, Michigan.

In freestyle, he is the 2022 world silver medalist, a two-time US World Team member, the 2020 Pan American champion, the 2019 US Open national champion, and a two-time age-group world champion. As a collegiate wrestler, Diakomihalis was a four-time NCAA Division I champion and four-time EIWA champion out of Cornell University.
