Jessica Lynch Renzi (born January 14, 1979 in New York, New York) is an American former pageant contestant who held the title of Miss New York in 2003 and competed in the Miss America 2004 pageant.

Miss New York

Lynch competed in the Miss New York pageant as Miss New York City. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Theater. Her talent was ballet and she began her formal ballet training at the age of 10 with Ballet Memphis. She was seen in the ensemble of the world-famous Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacluar. [1] Her platform was "Combating Teenage Depression and Suicide" because she struggled with depression and wanted to help others going through similar experiences. [2]

Personal life

Lynch married David Renzi, took his surname and had two sons. [3] As of 2008, she teaches at the In Motion School of Dance, and co-organized the Miss Northern New York 2008 pageant. [4]

Miss Americas Outstanding Teen 2007

Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2007 was the 2nd Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held at the Linda Chapin Theater in the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida on August 19, 2006. At the conclusion of the event, Meghan Miller of Texas crowned her successor Maria DeSantis of New York. The pageant was hosted by Miss America 2006 Jennifer Berry and N'SYNC singer Joey Fatone.

Miss America 2019

The Miss America 2019 pageant was the 92nd Miss America pageant, though the Miss America Organization celebrated its 98th anniversary in 2018. This discrepancy is due to national pageants not being held from 1928–1932 or in 1934 because of financial problems associated with the Great Depression. The 2019 pageant was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. On May 23, 2018, it was announced that the pageant would air live on ABC on Sunday, September 9, 2018. This was the last Miss America to be aired on ABC before would be moving to NBC beginning from 2020 pageant.

Brittany Lee Lewis is an activist, television personality, political commentator, disc jockey (DJ), Miss Delaware 2014, and Miss Black America 2017. She is a native of Brigantine, New Jersey. Lewis was crowned the 49th Miss Black America in 2017 and she competed in the Miss America Pageant as Miss Delaware in 2014. She is also a regular commentator on RT News, Roland Martin Show, Fox5DC, and various Sinclair Broadcasting programs.
