Miller began her career at age fourteen taking classes at a modelling school. [3] [4] In 1999 she was discovered by Corrie Singer at Next Model Management and signed with the agency the following year. [4]

She made her Paris Fashion Week debut in 2001 walking for Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, and Thierry Mugler.
