Jessie Lawson is a former international lawn bowler from Scotland who competed at the Commonwealth Games.

Biography

Lawson was a member of the Ardeer Bowls Club [1] and was the champion of Scotland in the singles at the 1981 Scottish National Bowls Championships. [2] [3] defeating June Dunshire in the final. [4]

Lawson represented the Scottish team [5] at the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane, Australia, [6] where she competed in the triples event, with Janet Menzies and Jessie Adamson. [7] [8]

She won the Ayrshire singles in 1988 for the fourth time [9] and reached the final again in 1992. [10]
