The story is about a young Japanese woman, born into a ninja clan, that is trapped between her wishes and her destiny. The story delves into Japanese culture and lore, while also maintaining all of the modernities of the 21st Century, which is when the story takes place. [2]
The series is comparable in many ways to the comic Shi as both are considered to be in the genre, "bad girl comics". Likewise both characters are of Asian heritage. Unlike Shi, the duality of the character Jetta is not caused by conflict of religion or philosophies as much as her own fight to understand truth and her fight against her destiny as the Chosen One of the Toshigawa clan. Shianndrea (Jetta) is a young Japanese woman brought up into the Toshigawa ninja clan. In its history, the clan had a severe struggle with the Knave, an organization bent on bringing evil together to unite the world, and at the end of that struggle the Knave had been defeated. However, legend has foretold that one day a descendant of Yamoto Toshigawa, who first subdued the Knave, will be destined to bring down the Knave as they rise up once again. When Jetta and her clan are attacked by her father and former Toshigawa clan leader Terminus, now leading the Knave, she realizes the prophecy was not meant for her father but for herself. Divided now between her love of a father she once knew, her loyalty towards her clan, and her own needs and wants, Jetta discovers that fighting her own destiny may be harder than answering to her destiny. Usagi Yojimbo is a comic book series created by Stan Sakai. It is set primarily at the beginning of the Edo period of Japanese history and features anthropomorphic animals replacing humans. The main character is a rabbit rōnin, Miyamoto Usagi, whom Sakai based partially on the famous swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. Usagi wanders the land on a musha shugyō, occasionally selling his services as a bodyguard.

It tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a young ninja who seeks to gain recognition from his peers and also dreams of becoming the Hokage, the leader of his village. Ninja Scroll is a 1993 Japanese animated jidaigeki-chanbara film written and directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri, starring the voices of Kōichi Yamadera, Emi Shinohara, Takeshi Aono, Daisuke Gōri, Toshihiko Seki and Shūichirō Moriyama. The film was a co-production between JVC, Toho, Movic and Animate, with Madhouse serving as the animation studio. Basilisk is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masaki Segawa. It was published in Japan in 2003 and 2004 in Kodansha's Young Magazine Uppers magazine, based on the novel The Kouga Ninja Scrolls by Futaro Yamada published in 1958. The anime, produced in 2005 by Gonzo, closely follows the manga aside from a handful of distinctions. The manga won the 2004 Kodansha Manga Award for general manga. Segawa continued producing serialized adaptations of Futaro Yamada's novels with The Yagyu Ninja Scrolls in 2005, Yama Fu-Tang in 2010, and Jū: Ninpō Makai Tensei in 2012. Additionally, a two-part novel sequel titled The Ouka Ninja Scrolls: Basilisk New Chapter, penned by Masaki Yamada, was published in 2015 with illustrations by Segawa; a manga adaptation, Basilisk: The Ouka Ninja Scrolls, illustrated by Tatsuya Shihira with character designs by Masaki Segawa, began serialization in 2017, and an anime adaptation by Seven Arcs Pictures premiered in January 2018.
Karai is a fictional character in various installments of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics and related media, where she is usually a high-rank member of the Foot Clan outlaw ninja organization. Itachi Uchiha is a fictional character in the Naruto manga and anime series created by Masashi Kishimoto. Itachi is the older brother of Sasuke Uchiha and is responsible for killing all the members of their clan, sparing only Sasuke. He appears working as a terrorist from the organization Akatsuki and serves as the biggest threat to his brother. During the second part of the manga, Itachi becomes involved in terrorist attacks to ninjas possessing tailed-beast creatures until facing Sasuke in a one-on-one battle. Although Itachi perishes during the final duel, It is later revealed Itachi had a secret reason for assassinating the Uchiha clan. Itachi has been featured in the Naruto films, has appeared once in an original video animation of Naruto, and is a playable character in most of the video games from the series.

Power Rangers Jungle Fury is the sixteenth season in the American children's television series Power Rangers. Toy merchandising in the United States began in November 2007 and the show premiered on February 18, 2008, and uses footage from Juken Sentai Gekiranger, the thirty-first Japanese Super Sentai series. Jungle Fury was broadcast on Toon Disney's Jetix programming block and ABC Kids in the United States. This was the third Disney series not to have a crossover series along with Power Rangers Ninja Storm and Power Rangers Mystic Force and also the third not to have an African American Ranger. This was the last Power Rangers season to be aired on Jetix and Toon Disney as both blocks were defunct and replaced by Disney XD in the United States as other countries continue with Jetix until 2010, the next season moved to its original programming block on ABC Kids. Jungle Fury was originally set to be the final season and was said to have low ratings.

"The Jezebel" Eden Black is the ring name of a retired British professional wrestler who wrestled internationally on the independent circuit in promotions such as Real Quality Wrestling, Shimmer Women Athletes and ChickFight among others. She was known for her wrestling attire, choosing loose-fitting street clothes similar in style to Homicide, her strike-based style of fighting and her relationship with fellow wrestler JP Monroe. Fighting Spirit Magazine exclusively named her and rival Jetta as "spearheading a revolution in British wrestling" with regards to serious female wrestling.
Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, known in Japan as Nurarihyon's Grandson, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hiroshi Shiibashi. The series was first published in Shueisha as a oneshot in 2007. The manga has been continuously serialized in the Japanese manga anthology Weekly Shōnen Jump from March 2008 to June 2012, and later in Jump Next! from August to December 2012. It has been collected into 25 tankōbon volumes as of March 2013. A Drama CD was released in December 2009. An anime adaptation by Studio Deen began airing in Japan on July 6, 2010. Also, a second season called Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan - Demon Capital began airing in Japan on July 5, 2011.
