Jezebelle is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton, the character first appeared in New Gods #12 (July 1977). [1] She is the second female character in the series, after Big Barda. [2]
Jezebelle is a New God from Apokolips and a former student of Granny Goodness. However, she expresses a reluctance to kill, and thus defects to New Genesis during a battle with them.
In New Gods vol. 3 #1 (February 1989), Jezebelle is killed by Necromina. However, she appears alive in Seven Soldiers (2006).
As a New God, Jezebelle possesses superhuman physical abilities and is nigh-immortal. Additionally, she can fly, survive in space, and generate optic blasts.
